Cover that is MOST LIKELY FAN MADE Oh boy this could be a huge topic. So the new Smash Bros title (possibly called Super Smash Bros Universe, title is not confirmed.) While there is not much information released about this game, I have heard it will be for Wii U and also 3DS, and I am wondering how that will work, but I don't have a 3DS so I am not completely sure of its capabilities. Go ahead and discuss this game in this topic, such as possible new stages, songs, and of course characters! Nintendo or non-Nintendo (such as Sonic and Snake in SSBB). Rumors I have heard about new characters is: Meowth Mega Man Pac Man Skull Kid King K. Rool Geno Rayman Knuckles Bowser Jr. Rosalina Bomberman Spyro Oshawott Now like I said these characters are RUMORS. I really doubt these characters will make into the final product of the game, but who am I to make that decision, right? So go ahead and discuss! Edited by Olimar001, Dec 12 2012, 09:40 AM.

Even though I'm pretty sure that's a fan made box art, just because they used the wii logo strip; I gotta say, That's pretty good! Also I have huge doubts about Spyro, I would expect to see him on the PS all stars game first. But you never know. I would pee if Spyro was in this game! |

That's DEFINITELY fan made. Nintendo isn't a stranger to reusing concept art, but when it comes to the Smash series, it's always new renders. That and half of the images used don't make sense - especially the Luigi and Rayman ones. That being said, I can't wait for this title. I can't wait to see what it looks like, let alone who's in it. |

The Smash hype train is back for the first time since March 2008! *runs and leaps on* Yes indeed; it is that time again! The season of Smash is upon us! For the next couple of years Nintendo fans the Internet over will be slaves to speculation, victims of countless rumors and fakes, and apologists for our favorite characters and franchises! Ahh... I figured it was fan made, but it still looks pretty cool if you ask me. I think a character that is really long due to be in a Smash game is Paper Mario. They could make him a really cool character that ISN'T a clone of Mario or Luigi. They could use the 2D look they have been using for Game and Watch and give him his own set of moves. Especially now that they've made 4 Paper Mario games, he's due to be in Smash. |

I'd much rather Paper Mario act as a Costume Switch for Mario. That's what I really want from this game - instead of doing colors. Or maybe both. Like, give us Mario, Doctor Mario, Paper Mario, Metal Mario, etc, and change the projectiles to match (ice balls for Ice Mario, for example. Keep the fire and speed and everything, but swap out the color.) Small things like that really do it for me in games like this. |

That would be nice, like how Wario has the original Wario colors outfit and the WarioWare outfit. And Link has Dark Link, etc. It would make it more diverse and you would see a lot of old characters "return" that were in Melee and people have wanted back, like Santos said, Doctor Mario. |

Man that would rock. Peach could have swaps to be Rosalina/Daisy/ and hell, even Pauline. It could change everything from the hair to the dress and such. Sexyyyyy! |

^ I dunno about totally changing CHARCTERS... That kinda takes away from not only Peach, but from the others as well (Daisy and Rosalina could have awesome movesets on their own). Maybe for characters that are extremely similar (like Olimar and Louie). I'm all for changing costumes, though! Like maybe Peach could change from her new dress into her retro dress, or her sports outfit. Peach - Retro Peach/Sports Peach Luigi - Mr. L Mario - Doctor Mario Link - Alternately-styled Link (like SS and TP, something like that) Ganondorf - Alternately-styled Ganondorf (same thing) Ness - Pajama Ness (just woke up) And so on. |

Yes I am aware of this. I stated that when I first posted this, but to emphasize my point these are only rumors! I just thought it could spark a lot of interesting conversations for characters and their possible move sets. A character I would really love to see in it is Mega Man, which is one of the bigger rumors going around, that Nintendo wants to get some Capcom characters in the mix this time. |

Characters like Daisy and Pauline likely won't be included in the roster, so doing actual costumes for characters like that would be fine, I'd think. I don't see the problem in giving Mario Foreman's costume if he's not going to be in the game, or giving Link Fierce Deity. |

Actually playing Pauline would be kind of cool, well if you could be her in her arcade bit form from Donkey Kong that is! that way she'll finally be able to ninja kick donkey kong in the NUTS for all his trouble! I think adding Mr. Game and watch to the Smash bros. series was Nintendo's best move yet, especially since he's in 2D. I wish Nintendo would do more things like that, like keeping the characters original graphics palette and stuff. |
