It's what everyone has been waiting for! A remake for Majora's Mask for the Wii U in full HD.  Nintendo has released an official trailer for it and it looks beautiful, just like OoT 3D. Zelda players that never owned Majora's Mask for 64 or Wii now have the ultimate chance to own this masterpiece! Discuss how you feel about this remake. And.... Begin! I wish for an HD remake and not just the game remastered in HD, an actual remake that looks like today's games. I had been a bit disappointed with the OOT remake. An HD remake will never happen though and remakes usually go on the handhelds.

I know that trailer is fan made, but god damn it's beautiful. Yeah, it's only a matter of time before we get a remake of it though. @Pyroll - Really, you were disappointed with the OoT remake? What particularly about it didn't you like? |

Idk now....i feel like Miyamoto is gonna do hes sequel to the other Zelda game like he said he would for the 3ds. Its either that or Majoras mask for 3ds. Im sure though that Nintendo will decide to make the Wii U version of Majoras mask though. Well I hope they do |

It didn't look that different overall, just certain spots did. I'm used to remakes looking different and way better then the original game. Even the certain spots that did look different I didn't like how it looked, too cartoony. The original looked dark, mysterious, old fashion and just more like how I've always seen Zelda games. Some of the remake looked to modern, like in the castle town. But again, I'm used to remakes looking a lot different from the original or way better, like for example, the original Final Fantasy's remake on the PS1 looks a lot different from the original. You look at that game and you know right a way that it's a remake. When I first saw OOT for the 3DS I couldn't tell at first that it was a remake until I read up on it. |

I don't think Ocarina of Time 3D was meant to be a big overhaul. I think GREZZO said themselves that they wanted the game to still look like you remembered it. All they basically did was get rid of the pre-rendered art in the houses and castle town, updated the textures, and remake the character and enemy models. Most (if not all) of the geometry is exactly the same. I don't think there's any doubt in my mind that they won't do a Majora's Mask remake on the 3DS. It will happen. |

I amended the topic title to fit the discussion we're currently having. No worries. I'd love to see a HD remake of Majora's Mask - seeing the trailer that Nintendo released of a possible Zelda title made my head spin. I mean, I'd rather a brand new title altogether. But if Nintendo can work on a new Zelda title and have Grezzo make the HD remake of MM - I'd make so many knuckle babies. |

I would love to see a remake in HD of Majora's Mask, and yeah I am sure if anything it would be on 3DS similar to the OoT remake. Especially hearing a lot of the music being remade too. OoT and MM had some of the greatest soundtracks and to hear all that remastered would probably cause me to jizz while playing. Just sayin. |

Dude have you heard the orchestration album? I pissed myself in happiness when i first heard it. I don't know if Nintendo themselves did it but it's amazing nonetheless. Check them out on YT here! |
