So recently, IGN posted an hour long video of Nintendo News. To save you guys from having to look at Gameplay and listen to Nintendo News at the same time for a whole hour, I have decided to summarize it for you.

    - There are two new launch games for Wii U.

    - EA in the past week or so, announced 2 new games for Wii U. One of the games are Madden NFL 13. This game will be a launch title. The Wii U version does not feature the new physics engine, like the Xbox 360/PS3 versions. The Wii U version of Madden NFL 13 is a scaled-down version of the Xbox 360/PS3 Madden NFL 13. EA's excuse for this is that the Wii U was a brand new hardware/system for them. EA wasn't completely familiar with the Wii U. This is really unfortunate because the Madden NFL 13 physics engine for Xbox 360/PS3 is better than the physics engines in the past Madden NFL games. However, with the Wii U, you will be able to draw you plays on the fly. There will be a lot of interactivity with the Wii U gamepad for Madden NFL 13. The second Wii U game from EA that has been announced is Fifa 13.

    - You have probably already heard that Mass Effect 3 is coming for Wii U, but now it has been announced as a Launch title. In Mass Effect 3, there will be an interactive comic element where you can see what happened in Mass Effect 1 and 2. Mass Effect 3 and Madden NFL 13 will be joining other Launch titles such as Nintendo Land, ZombiU, Assassin's Creed 3, and Darksiders 2 at Wii U's launch. The Wii U will launch sometime in November.

    - The Wii U games' boxart has been confirmed. Nintendo has finished the formal design for the boxes. Third party companies have been adding their own boxarts to Nintendo's design and have been giving them to retailers. So basically, these new boxarts from third party companies have been announced as legit.

    - On the Wii U game boxart:

there is a gold line on the bottom of the logo, and for some reason, it has been upsetting people.

    - There is going to be a gardening center in Animal Crossing 3DS. This gardening center will be run by a sloth. This sloth will take so long to plant the seeds you give to him (because, of course, he is a sloth). The sloth will sell flower seeds and tree saplings.

    - Capcom has announced that they will be working on a game for Wii U. That's all they said, though. (No extra details)

    - Masahiro Sakurai, the video game designer of the Super Smash Bros. Series, has announced information about the new Super Smash Bros. game coming to Wii U. Since the Wii U doesn't support the Gamecube controller, Masahiro Sakurai and Namco Bandai are currently deciding on which controller the new Super Smash Bros game will use. The new Super Smash Bros game might be controlled using a Wii U Pro Controller (similar to an Xbox controller) but no details about this have been announced yet. Since Namco Bandai is working on the new Super Smash Bros game, there might be characters from games like Pac-man, Tekken, and Soulcaliber. Masahiro Sakurai has commented that the focus of any Super Smash Bros game is lost when characters like Sonic or Snake are added with the characters. Super Smash Bros games are supposed to focus on Nintendo characters. When asked whether the new Super Smash Bros. game will have 3D fighting rather than 2D ( 2D = Sidescrolling, 3D = Behind the back point of view) Masahiro Sakurai said no, because it isn't necessary.

    - There is now a golden Nunchuck for Club Nintendo in North America. It costs 900 coins. In Japan, however, the Golden Nunchuck was available for Club Nintendo users for at least a year from now.

So, that's all the news in the IGN Video. Even though IGN's Nintendo News Video is an hour long, it is worth watching because you can see some Super Mario Sunshine gameplay. For the video, click here.

Thanks for summarising. To be honest I'm not really interested in any of these games apart from AC and Zombiu. I really hope Zombiu is good :s

I really hope Namco doesn't fuck up Smash Bros... I have my fingers crossed. I did like what Sakurai said about how the focus of the game shouldn't be on third party characters or whatever, so I'm feeling slightly reassured.

Also, that bit about Animal Crossing, that was random as shit.
    XD

@Gh0st_J4y - By "AC" do you mean Animal Crossing or Assassin's Creed? :P
