World of Darksiders 2 Video Feature: Kingdom of the Dead!![]() Darksiders 2, the sequel to Darksiders, is coming for Wii U. Of course, though, it is also coming for Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 on August 14. For Wii U, it is coming as a launch game. The Wii U is launching this Holiday Season. IGN is starting to post video features on the world of Darksiders 2. In fact, they already posted their first one, titled "The Kingdom of the Dead". You might be interested in these video features, considering that it is coming for Wii U. Darksiders 2 is going to be developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ (Toy HeadQuarters). The video features by IGN will show just how vast the worlds are in Darksiders 2. The worlds are 3 to 4 times bigger in Darksiders 2 than in Darksiders. The video feature also gives a quick look at the game's main overworld, which is a flying airship. You can also interact with a variety of characters on the airship. If you're interested in looking at a quick overview and learning more about the many locations in Darksiders 2, this ongoing video feature is definitely for you. Not only does this have Angry Bird, but it also includes Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons as well. (No Angry Birds Space ) This is not only coming for 3DS, but Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 (Kinect) as well. It is coming out at Quarter 4 (meaning either October, November, or December) this year. For more information about Angry Birds Trilogy, click here.Pokedex 3D Pro Screenshots! ![]() Nintendo has posted some screenshots of Pokedex 3D Pro, which is coming out on eShop on October 7, 2012, the same day when Pokemon Black 2 & Pokemon White 2 come in stores. What's cool about these screenshots is that they show off how you can take photos of the real world with 3D Pokemon placed in the shot. As you can imagine, that alone could entertain you for hours. Of course, there are a few screenshots that show off the improved interface of Pokedex 3D Pro as well. For a look at the screenshots, click here. Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate Screenshots! ![]() For those of you who have been following the Castlevania series, MercurySteam, Kojima Productions, and Konami are working on a sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which will be called Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate. It is coming for 3DS this Fall. MercurySteam, Kojima Productions, and Konami have posted some screenshots for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate. Be sure to check them out. The screenshots show a few areas of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate that we haven't seen before. For a look at the screenshots, click here. New Super Mario Bros. 2 Comic Con Trailer! ![]() A New Super Mario Bros 2 commercial was shown at the latest San Diego Comic Con. New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be coming out on August 19, 2012, the same day as the Nintendo 3DS XL, for both eShop and retail. It is better if you get it on eShop, however, because Club Nintendo has a special offer where you can get double the coins you'd usually get if you got it from retail when you register it (50 coins). If you got it from eShop, then you can get 100 coins. The Comic Con trailer shows a lot of new footage. The coolest thing about the Comic Con trailer is that it shows off a retro themed world, which is definitely inspired by the Super Mario Bros. 3 Artwork. Of course, a lot of the footage also showcases just how fun it is going to be to collect massive amounts of gold coins, all, of course, in an effort to reach your 1 million coin total. That is pretty insane. It's gonna take quite a while and it is going to be very addictive. The gameplay definitely seems to be centered around collecting lots of coins in a lot of creative ways. Famitsu Scans Reveal Animal Crossing 3DS Info! ![]() Famitsu, a Japanese Magazine, has posted scans of their Animal Crossing 3DS article from their magazine. Animal Crossing 3DS is coming this Fall in Japan and Early 2013 in North America and Europe. The Animal Crossing 3DS magazine spread is 2 pages long. The scan includes brand new characters as well as new shops and new items. If you're a big Animal Crossing Fan, I'd advise you to zoom in to every picture of the Animal Crossing 3DS scans to find out more information about Animal Crossing 3DS. Or, if you're too lazy to do that, then look below: Animal Crossing 3DS Famitsu Scans Overview - Animal Crossing 3DS has some of the same characters as Animal Crossing: City Folk, such as the bears, cats, and ducks. - Animal Crossing 3DS has some new characters as well such as a new kind of bear, as shown on the first screenshot on the first page, and the cat, as shown on the screenshot on the right on page two on the screenshots at the very top. In fact, there was even a deer in the last Animal Crossing 3DS trailer. - Now, instead of the flowers being in patches of 3 in the last Animal Crossing games, they are now in patches of 4, as shown in the first screenshot on the first page. You can decorate your town with flowers. ![]() - Outdoor items and structures are a pretty big deal in Animal Crossing 3DS. On the second screenshot of the first page, there is a jungle gym, that looks pretty spiffy. It is only for decoration though. Also, in that screenshot, you can see a Flower Sundial, which is another Outdoor Item. In fact, the Flower Sundial was featured in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing for Gamecube. - Just like the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing, you will arrive to your town by train. In Animal Crossing 3DS there is a train station which is run by Porter, the same Train Station monkey in Animal Crossing for Gamecube. In Animal Crossing 3DS, your arrival to town is a big deal, considering that 3 of the local animals and your new assistant greet you. Because of this, you can probably assume that you won't be running errands for Tom Nook, like in the past games. Timmy Nook, however, will be making an appearance in Animal Crossing 3DS. All of this can be seen on the bottom of the first page. - In Animal Crossing 3DS, your role is the town Mayor, which can be seen in the first two screenshots on the top of the second page. As the mayor of your town, you can decide where structures are built. On the second screenshot on the top of the second page, you can see a wooden hut, which kind of looks like a bus stop. Behind the wooden hut, you can see a bell tower. It might be a shop or an outdoor structure that you can have built. It kind of resembles the bell tower in Super Mario Sunshine. - One of the really cool features in Animal Crossing 3DS is that you can change the appearance off your house from the outside and not just the inside. You can see two decorated houses on the right side of the middle row of screenshots on the second page. The house on the left is obviously more upgraded. - The pink lamb/sheep/alpaca, seen on the left side of the middle row of screenshots on the second page, is a brand new character. She has a pink colored shop in your town. In past screenshots, this shop has shown shelves with items on them. This could mean that she runs a new updated version of the Auction house. - Kicks, the shoe shiner from Animal Crossing: City Folk, has moved up in life and now has his own shoe shop, which he probably go by all the money that he got from shoe shining. Over there, you can buy shoes and boots and all that stuff. For the Animal Crossing 3DS scans from Famitsu, click here. Edited by Brendan, Jul 22 2012, 07:03 PM.
