Shin’en discusses upcoming WiiU and 3DS projects! ![]() Shin'en, the developer of wonderful games such as Jett Rocket (for WiiWare), Art of Balance (for Nintendo 3DS), and Fast Racing League (for WiiWare), are currently working on projects for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Shin'en has mentioned, in an interview, that their Wii U title will be announced by the end of Summer. The only details released about this Wii U title so far is that it will be a downloadable game, it will be a spinoff of one of their pre-existing franchises, and that due to Wii U's graphical power, its a real jawdropper. You would know that this statement is true if you look at the other games that they have made. If they could make Jett Rocket and Fast Racing League with only 40 MB, just imagine what they could make for Wii U. I'm pretty excited for this Adventure Time game. I've been waiting for that show to give birth to a video game for a while now. The source material is perfect considering the show is so heavily influenced by video games and fantasy. (whoa, a video game based on a show influenced by video games) As long as they don't completely fuck up the technical aspects it should be quite enjoyable. Also, the series creator (and voice of the ever rad Lumpy Space Princess) Pendleton Ward is supposed to be working closely with the developers on it, so I find that comforting. ^ Not to mention it's inspired by Zelda II's gameplay, of all games! That's good news. 'Course, I've never watched the show, so I'm not gonna get the game :p But I gotta admit, that Photo Showcase website looks extremely cool. I love how Nintendo has been doing stuff like this lately, stuff like Flipnote and its website, and now this - community stuff. I can't wait to see what kind of events they cook up with the Wii U's online stuff. |

Yes, especially since Finn kinda looks like Maxwell (the main character) from Scribblenauts. |
