There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line
    Hi everyone

Im thinking of restarting Pokemon Diamond and was wondering if I could have some feedback on my potential team:

Lapras: waterfall, ice beam, psychic, hydro pump
Magmorta: flamethrower, psychic, solar beam, sunny day
Electavire: thunder punch, ice punch, fire punch, earthquake
Dragonite: dragon claw, waterfall, fire punch, thunder punch
Porygon-Z: tri attack, thunderbolt, shadow ball, ice beam
Lucario: aura sphere, flash cannon, dragon pulse, close combat

I plan to use this team competitively
    Thanks ^_^

Lapras - I always stay away from the larger moves - Hydro Pump, Fire Blast, Thunder, etc - their unreliable when playing competitively unless you've got a weather or accuracy buff. It's just not worth it - switch out HP for Surf.

Magmortar - Skip Sunny Day and Solar Beam - Magmortar isn't much of a beast to hold his own to get them both off, and even if he does, it's not worth the damage. Magmortar gets STAB (same type attack bonus) off of Flame Thrower, which comes out to the same (or just slightly less) than a Sunny Day + Solar Beam combo from a fire pokemon. Ditch those two, and give him Cross Chop (TRUST ME), and Thunder Bolt. TB is a god send.

Electivire - Never been an all punch fan. But I would keep Thunder Punch over TB on him. If you want to run the punches, cool, but ditch them on Dragonite. If not, switch out Ice and Fire for Thunder Wave and a stat buffer - I'd go with Double Team. DT+TW = huge frustration. Throw in some constant EQ's or Thunder Punches and you've got a stalled game.

Dragonite - I'm not a huge fan of Waterfall - I much rather Surf almost every other time. I do believe WF would be better on Dragonite, though, as he's likely got a higher Physical stat than Special (if I recall correctly.) If not, then switch out WF for Surf. Thunderbolt and Flamethrower or Fire Punch/Thunder punch, depending on if he majors in physical attacks or special.

Porygon-Z- Looks good! Make sure to dump at least 200 EV's into both speed and special attack.

Lucario - Get rid of Flash Cannon! That attack is terrrrrrrrrible. It's not worth it - give him EQ or Aerial Ace. Both are great alternatives.
