    You're undoubtedly familiar with how this works.
    I've sort of wanted to do this for quite a while, but never felt inclined... until now.
    Make it worth it, alright?

    Okay, since you have asked me something, I think it's my turn to ask you a question.
    Have you really been in this forum since 2004? Because I've never seen someone who had been a part of a website more than 2 years (until I've been to this forum).
    If so, could you tell me what your motivation is to stay in this forum? Or what reason you see in being here?

    Hope you don't mind me asking this, but that is just amazing!

    Always tl;dr

    MP1, Have you ever played Professor Layton? You remind me a bit of him. Especially in your first post.

    How many girlfriends have you had?

    @M.E.R.255,
    I technically did join back in 2004. However, at different points in time, life would get busy or I would lose interest in internet forums and I would go inactive for a few months. Up until recently, I would get on to read what's new in the NF community and occasionally make a post or two. Furthermore, I'm indirectly a reason this forum even came into existence (so far as I know, and I cannot actually prove this, I'm the one who first directed Matt(B22890)/Pulse {or whatever it's been lately} to invisionfree forums. Within like a day or two of showing him one, he created this and invited our close knit group of friends (Nintendo_Golfer, DiddyKongDude, as well as some others) to join his community. This was a great idea because within like 6 months or a year, NSider was shut down).
    @LG,
    Unfortunately, I have never played a Professor Layton game. Given that I've heard many great things about them, I'll take that as a great compliment.
    As for the number of girlfriends I've ever had, the technical number is 2. One was back in middle school and, of course, frivolous and completely non-serious. The second one was during my junior year of high school. It only lasted around three months. At any rate, I've never been in a truly serious, committed relationship. It can be sort of disheartening at times.

    @Pyroll7,
    I'm certainly trying to get more involved with the community. It feels like an entirely new forum now, with the exception of a few old, familiar faces.

    Indeed-- speaking of which, Pyroll, why do the two of us not have signatures/avatars?

    If you knew today was your last day on Earth, how would you spend it and why?

    Because we are making a statement. No sigs/avatars are in. It's the "in" thing now.

    @VL,
    Given that today is almost over for me, I'll just assume that tomorrow was my last day.
    I've always told myself that the reason for my life (as I've decided it to be) is to leave the world a better place than I've entered and lived it as. As such, I would ideally spend the entire today doing everything I could to accomplish that. I would cash my loan, withdraw all of my funds from my banking account, and spread it around to the suffering homeless here, probably giving them the majority of my clothes and other items that would be useless for me at the end of the day.
    I would greet and compliment every person I meet that day, regardless of whether I knew them at all or not. I would go to class only to attempt to take over the class just to share any tidbits of wisdom I've gained over the years. I would call my family and friends and explain how integral to my development they had been.
    Those are the comparatively less selfish things I would do. However, given that it is my life about to end, I would indulge myself in some of my favorite things. I would save some of the money from the loans to purchase my favorite meal-- spaghetti-- at the finest Italian restaurant or venue around with my best friends here. I would also tip the waiter/waitress very generously. I would convince my friends with fakes to buy the nicest vodka they could find; we would enjoy much of the later hours drinking and just generally enjoying one another's company. In my somewhat macabre humor, I can see myself teasing them about how they owe me this given that I'm essentially earning each of them guaranteed A's in their classes for this semester. Though, I may reserve that one if I felt that it would offend or depress them.
    Yet, in reality, I have no idea what I would do. I'd like to say I'd be courageous and do the above things, but to be honest, if met with the impending grave, I would likely be too afraid to accomplish anything I'd want. I would probably spend most of the day nostalgically sulking and questioning everything that's happened up until then.

    @55k,
    Assuming the Butterfly Effect to be true, I would likely not change a damned thing because I happen to enjoy living. Non-existing or being a completely different person doesn't sound appealing in the slightest.
    However, if the Butterfly Effect wasn't an issue, I would probably lend myself to preventing world atrocities and woes-- anything from the genocides of Stalin to Hitler to Mao Zedong to the current crisis in Darfur, to the indignity of slavery in its various manifestations, to the crude banality of discrimination in its myriad facets, to the survival of fundamentalistic religiosity, to the rise of the modern American Grand Old Party (I kid, I kid... but seriously), to things as selfish as factors in my personal upbringing.
    I don't know how to determine what has most negatively impacted the world, nor do I know if this is necessarily the best way of determining what I would change.

    Fascinating questions, though!

    @Ryko,

    It does in fact stand for one of those: MARIOPARTY1 was my screen name on Nsider where I met MATTB22890 and joined this community. I've been thinking of changing it, but I almost feel that it's my "heritage" and should thus remain.
