Wow, that's one question that will be hard to answer, because there is so much I could talk about. =3

Well, let me get started.
Before I've registered, I wasn't sure if it were such a good idea, even though it was recommended on the internet. There are so many members registered to this website, and I was afraid that the administrators were some jerks, thinking that they would be their god. I was relieved when I've seen, that everyone, even the staff, is really nice to everyone. It surprised me a bit to see so many answers in my introduction after such a short time. I thaught I might receive something like "we don't need any more members, get out of here!" or "I'm not reading that!", but I haven't received anything negative.

I guess I've been to the wrong forums before. Okay, it wasn't always like that, but there was always a catch to something.
1. forum: Nice members, lazy staff.
2. forum: New nice members, same lazy staff, except that my admin tired to turn me into a slave.
3. forum: big website, but with nothing but jerks as staff
4. forum: lazy staff
And then I've been a founder of websites and stuff, oh, and the forum I've been to, to learn about SSBB textures and stuff, also wasn't really all that good. =/
An administrator on that forum thaught I would be a kissass, because I was trying so hard to do everything right, and even told me that, and the members couldn't help me on my problem, or just didn't wanted to.


What I like in this forum is, that the staff (at least those I know of) don't act like they are more important than the members in it, and that they respect them, like they respect the staff.

I also like how easy it is to find the right section to write in. I knew a forum, where there wasn't a "questions & answers" category. Seriously, how can someone not have a category, where the members can ask questions?

I appreciate it, that no one told me to stop posting smilies, or else it will be considered spam, also when writing too many or too long replies, but how can something be considered spam, when it has so much information (or when it comes to smilies, emotions) in it?

The layout of this page is also pretty nice, especially having several themes to choose from. This forum is more adjusted to the members, than most I've seen. Usually, the admins/staff I know of just say "at least it's working". They don't want to make any adjustments or improve the website, not as long as it fits their needs. In fact, I got yelled at, because I wanted to improve the overall performance by removing errors and less images on the website, just because they were afraid of change, even though they made me the administrator for doing the codes on their website.

What I ment with less images? Okay, let's say you have 30 buttons with text on it (this website did) and every single button uses an image with the text on it. Having 30 images for 30 buttons isn't really all that smart, if they have the excact same background on it.
So instead, I thaught they could use one image that replaces them all, with not text on it, and add it as background for these "buttons" (actually links) with CSS. Then, all they would have to do, is to add the text in the HTML file (or whatever file it would be), and were able to change it any time, without editing or adding an image.

Now what's wrong with that? So, let me get back to the topic:


I also like the forum ranks (the ones you get for writing posts), they look much nicer than having stars, or Mario heads for every 15 posts, or stuff like this, also the fact that the color of the username changes as well, is pretty cool. ^^


In short: I like the way the staff and members are nice to each other and have respect, being able to write something without being called a kissass or something bad like this, having a staff that does what they are suppose to and are willing to do something, having the ability to change the theme of the forum, being able to ask questions and receiving answers on them that don't insult someone, ... there is just too much to write.

In very short: This forum is like a big family. =O


I tried to keep it "short" but instead, it got a little too big. ^^
