I live in Seattle Washington and attended pax over the weekend. Some pictures of things i got below.![]() ![]() List of important/cool things -2 t shirts- counter strike global offensive, RAGE -halo avatar energy sword -league of legends custom skin -counter strike global offensive beta access -battlefield 3 dog tags -turtle beach dog tag -Apb releaded premium account -10%off ipower pc's -Fake Grenade for winning alienware tournament. Impressions On: ![]() Razer- (7/10) It started off boring that is until they showed this beast: What can I say about the laptop capabilities? Amazing. Link for the specs-Razerblade Now what's the catch you may ask? This thing is going to cost you 2.8k from the start without upgrading anything in the computer, is it worth it? Debatable, think of it as a macbook on steroids and if you have one trust me you will be the envy of all your friends, but at the same time I don't think that at this price many people will look into it. The funniest part that was talked about after they presented it is that their whole advertising platform was to spread pc gaming, last time I checked this was not the way to do it (cost is too high especially in this economic condition). My recommendation is make a less powerful/more affordable model. Halo Anniversary/4- (3/10) 1 word disappointed. Beside the cool statues and life size warthog the true sadness came when I was told that the halo 1 remake would have multi-player be utilized in the halo reach engine (multi-player is basically an update for your halo reach disk) So think of it as a map pack with a campaign. Why does this make me mad/upset? Mainly because I have been a halo 1 fan (primarily 1) since I got my first laptop and spent most of my time playing halo 1 on it. I LOVED the multi-player in that game more then in any other game ever, please make it as it should be a full remake of halo 1, including multi-player. The reason I'm disappointed in halo 4 is because nothing new was really shared, no game-play shown. ![]() Skyrim- (9/10) Is it as good as it's been hyped up to be? Short answer:yes. The graphics are amazing, it was showed on an xbox 360 and you can see that they pushed to the limits. Well graphics are on thing now time for gameplay, nothing and I mean nothing was more satisfying then going around killing and setting on fire the village, it was a 15 minute demo and I can gladly say that I will be picking this game up 100% as soon as it comes out. THE ONLY reason its a 9/10 is because it is built for consoles as opposed to pc (the way it was structured for playing) and since i'm picking this up on pc it disappoints me a little bit. As for the part that xbox 360 gets dlc a month eariler then ps3 and pc, guys trust me you will be too focused on playing the shit out of it to enjoy whatever dlc gets added. Not to count the other games coming out the same month. ![]() Guild Wars 2-(7/10) This is not a regular mmo, it has destroyed the holy trinity that has been used in mmo's from the dawn of time it would seem. It is missing 3 out of 10 because of the fact that a lot of gameplay (pvp) seemed like it was made for well noobs. The game is not punishing enough once you die you can easily get back in the game. Some might say its more fun because people get involved longer, as for me I as a competitive player didn't really like that part. ![]() Star Wars mmo- (9/10) Really brings back a perspective of what mmo's should be like. I played it several times and got into a huge ass line each time to play it. I tried 3 different classes, they all play differently and all are fun/enjoyable in their own way. So the whole argument of everyone being jedi/sith is wrong and each class has something to bring to the table. Orcs Must Die- (9/10) I can almost promise that this game will be the next castle crashers. It's fun, addicting and I just couldn't stop playing it.There's really nothing more to say about it, great game. The only thing I would like to see is for multi-player to be added into the game. Fruit Ninja Kinect-(6/10) Fun, for a little bit then annoying. Im not a fan of motion gaming so go figure but i just don't see myself playing this a lot because im not a fan of throwing my hands around in order to play a game. ![]() Blacklight Retribution-(10/10) Its free. It has good graphics. It has good gameplay. Go right now and enter the beta CLICK HERE I was simply amazed at this game, it could and should be played if you like fps games. It was just really fun to play. ![]() Firefall- (8/10) Kinda of like team fortress 2 meets borderlands graphics meets unreal tournament style gameplay. Very fun game and very difficult to be good at. Check some videos out and see if its your type of game. Mass Effect 3- (10/10) AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. This is one of the few franchises that ea still hasn't messed up. Its better then ever, just wow. Graphics - godly. Gameplay - godly. Go preoreder/buy or whatever you need to to play this game. I will be adding more to this just trying to take a little break, a lot of writing and im kind of tired =) Edited by Hellhoy, Aug 29 2011, 04:41 AM.

As far as MMOs, I'm extremely excited for Guild Wars 2 and SWTOR. Glad to hear they had a good impression on you for the most part. |

Swtor is just amazing, i was really blown away. I have played many mmo's in my life and its actually very well done, if you have played any other swtor games you will be familiar with a lot of things in the game. Also if you guys have any questions about any game listed, or some that aren't listed because there is still a bunch I haven't named just throw them out and i will answer as soon as possible.
