My cell phone contract is up in December, and I currently have an LG enV Touch and I don't like it one bit. My next phone will either be an Android phone or an iPhone. I've done research on different opinions on each kind, but I want to see what you guys think. Which should I get? I don't really have too many specific preferences other than useful and entertaining apps (the lead of which probably goes to iPhone), easy to use, blah blah, the general stuff. So, which do you prefer, if either? |

I would get an iPhone, I just think an iPhone has more options, an android is kind of boring. But that is my opinion, I guess either would be okay. |

I don't prefer one over the other, mainly because I don't have either. |

I have a Motorola Milestone X (Android), and I love it. It's been an awesome phone. I have to say though that the IPhone is really good to. There really isn't to many differences between the two. |

I wanted to get an iPhone because I enjoy its sleek feel. I am still open to reconsideration, though, as Android does look nice. I guess I just don't know enough about them to make an informed decision yet, which is why I turned to you guys. |

iPhone 'cause of its feel in general. Slick interface, slick design and huge amounts of stuff to do. And the music player is really easy to use. |

Android, I like the OS a lot better and they're starting to catch up in apps. |

I'll keep looking. They are both very good phones, and I guess I need to establish what exactly I want though. |

I'd personally go for a Samsung Galaxy S2 if you want a really awesome phone. It runs Android. |

This is also kind of unfair since the iPhone is a single phone while Android is an OS on many phones. |

Try looking into a Windows Phone 7 device. With the Mango update coming around next month, the hardware is rapidly advancing with features the other OS's have, like front facing cameras and the like. I would deter from iOS and Android devices, they're too unstable, iOS with the fact that the hardware is limited, and always changing. Android is so broad in the spectrum in terms of hardware, it's hard to pinpoint standards for it, which makes the app marketplace a trial and error situation, with some apps requiring a processor more powerful than yours, or more RAM, etc. That's just my 2 cents on that, though. |
