crazy sexy, and sexy crazy

Almost all of them, excluding a few of the Batman ones, and like I said Beetlejuice, Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands, and Mars Attacks! were pretty good. That being said none of those were made in the past 10 years, the most recent was made in 1996. Burton has lost his touch. I heard today that there might be a remake of the Breakfast Club...... Why? Why god why!? |

I've not seen all of them in their entirety, but overall I'm not that much of a fan. Having said that, I think Mars Attacks! is fantastic and I also like Sleepy Hollow. Err, um. Sorry for going off topic for a moment there. I'd like to add Akira to the list of films, in light of the project to create a live action version that's been flailing around for a few years. I can't understand why someone would think turning such a visually striking film into a Hollywood blockbuster would be a good idea. |

KatzMotel- ehh. Who? If you're asking me I've seen most all of them. James and the Giant Peach, Batman 1, 2 and 3, Beetlejuice, Mars Attacks, Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Vincent, Peewee's Big Adventure, Corpse Bride, 9, I've never seen Ed Wood but I really want to. I know he didn't directly make some of those, but he produced them, and those are the ones I can think of right now. I actually really like a great deal of his stuff, granted I realize his main emphasis is visuals over all other things which is irritating at times ahem...9. He's not my favorite director but I like a lot of his movies. Technically he was an animator for The Fox and the Hound and The Black Cauldron, so if you count those, there are two more movies I like. edit: aww shit. Disregard this, I took too long...poop. It was only the two Keaton Batman films that Burton directed. The other two were done by two different directors (Although he did produce the third, does that count though?) I find that this video as well as this one sum up Tim Burton's recent output pretty succinctly. It just seems to me that it's got to the stage where Tim Burton is just using his films as escapist vehicles for himself, using Johnny Depp as a stand in for what he wishes he could be like and putting him in all these roles with his wife to complete the fantasy. I did enjoy the first two Batman films though, and Big Fish. |

Just... No. Just because you don't like a movie, it doesn't mean that the people who do like it are "dickweeds" and it isn't exactly a fair reason to start hating them. I love "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and its music and I will sing it and/or listen to it whenever I damn well please. I'm not just a fan of that movie, I'm a big fan of Tim Burton in general. |
