I thought Toy Story 3 was a tad over-rated, too. Toy Story 2 was the best Toy Story movie. I still haven't seen Wall-E or Up yet, though.
I watched Wall-E by myself on a bus ride about a year ago, and I must say I loved it death. Pretty much the whole first half of the movie has no real voice work, which was done very well and was my favorite thing about the entire movie. I kinda wish the whole movie had been sparse on the dialouge. Though that might just be my preference, the little dialouge thing. It reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyessy :p

Anyhow, I never really even go to the theater, so I haven't seen most of these. The older ones I have, though.

Not to sound lame, but Up was a pretty beautiful movie, and it seemed more geared to adults with some of it's story. But it was also really emotional.

Wall e was on a similar track, and that was just a really ballsy movie to make, for any studio, due to the lack of almost any diologue throughout more than half of the movie. Speaking as an appreciator of visual art it was really well done though, but I can see why many people would find it irritating.
edit: Balls, Togeshroob beat me to it and mentioned Kubrick :pinch:

I couldn't agree more with Velvet about teachers abusing the shit out of Finding Nemo, (seriously what the hell is their fascination with that movie??) Toy Story 3 was definitely overrated, but most movies at least halfway decent are, (The Hangover, Dark Knight) and Ratatouille was just awesome...damn I always forget how many Pixar movies there are. And I love Dreamworks if nothing else than for Kung Fu Panda. lol Jack Black is too legit.

Yea, the graphical aspect of Pixar movies is amazing.
I watched Toy Story not too long back and then watched the third one like a day later and the difference between animation is pretty big. I always did love the way they animated Sully's fur.
    Just amazing.
And while i liked the first and last parts of UP, the rest kinda bored me besides some of the scenes with the cute dog.

And i swear i watched Finding Nemo at least 50 times in school throughout it's lifetime of being released.

^ haha. that was mainly what I liked in Up too. Whenever they were in the island or whatever it didn't really hold my interest, but when they were in the city it was awesome. I feel like it could have been better if it hadn't gotten so ridiculous. Like with the dogfighting planes with dogs and such..

Yeah. Toy Story 3 was my LEAST favorite out of the series, and the first one was my favorite. I sure as hell hope that they don't make another Toy Story movie. Does this mean... Pixar movies are getting worse?

    What

    Are you kidding?

Toy Story 3 was a masterpiece. Why in the hell do you think it was nominated for the Oscar and not the other two? The story was beautiful, the animation was beautiful, and not to mention if you didn't cry you are a soulless creature.

Toy Story grew up with me. Andy was always around my age for each of the movies and It felt so weird to see him go to College the same time I did.

Well, the timing of the movie was terrible, because they made Toy Story 3 like, what? 11 years after the Toy Story 2? Besides, Toy Story 3 is kinda dark, especially for a KIDS movie. And usually if the movie critics say it's good, it's usually bad.

I'm sorry, was possible death too dark for you? So, Bambi must have been horrific for you. Snow White must have been the worst thing next to it. Oh God, and Lion King! Let's see, what else? Well...The Princess and the Frog, Brother Bear, Fox and the Hound, Mulan, Hunchback of Notre Dame...should I keep going or do you kinda realize that most kids movies have a dark undertone.

Mulan was the SHIT. The art and music in that movie were just amazing.

But yeah, typically movies like that have really dark undertones. Hell, you can find a dark undertone in most children related material.

I feel the need to download it now.
You should watch it in another language.
All (musical) Disney movies are funny in other languages.

No, I'm saying it's dark for a KIDS movie.
