I'll say yes, even though I've only played a handful of them. |

I've only played a handful of titles (Metroid Prime: Hunters, 3, Fusion, and Pinball), but I've immensely enjoyed each title. |

Actually, MP3 is, by many, considered to be the best in the series. If you've got the cash and get the chance, spring for the Trilogy collection. I haven't played the original, but they've been updated with bug fixes and the Wii controls. Definitely worth looking into if you're a Metroid Fan. |

The bug fixes are actually why I prefer the original GC releases over the trilogy. The bug fixes take out most of the fun sequence breaks. |

I played metroid prime hunters on the ds and did not like it , and will probsbly stay away from the prime series . I get the feeling I might like the 2d metroid titles if I were to try them , they seem more like the platforming style rather than the fps style of prime . |

I never did like sequence breaking xD. I've been tripped up a few times because of it. @Reaper: Metroid Prime: Hunters is really the only Metroid Prime title that feels like a first person shooter. The other titles are more first person adventure titles that include shooting elements - it's more about exploration and scanning and such than anything else. If you don't like the style, though, then definitely check out Fusion and Super Metroid. I played and beat Fusion in 2 different sitdowns, and it was awesome. They aren't very long titles (Fusion took me about 4-5 hours to complete), but I guess it all depends on how much you like to explore and whether or not you're playing with a guide. |

Ill have to try out fusion at some point then . Problem is the only thing I have that can play gba games is my original gba , which needs double A batteries ( and doesnt seem to take long to drain them flat ) not to mention its non backlit screen . playing oracles on that thing could be a real pain at times . |

I've enjoyed the titles I've played, which would be the original, Super Metroid, the Primes (minus Hunters, though I played the demo for it), and Other M. Echoes is probably my favorite of the series. |

I really like the Metroid series. I'm playing through Metroid Prime 2: Echoes right now. The Metroid Prime trilogy, to be totally honest, is probably the best video game trilogy of all time. It's right up there with the NES Mario trilogy. I also loved Super Metroid. One of the best Super Nintendo games you can get. I never played the original, unfortunately, and I really want to try Metroid Fusion which looks like it plays extremely similar to Super Metroid. I really didn't like Metroid Prime Hunters, and I thought Metroid: Other M was awful. Hunters was too action-y and not enough exploring. It also had like, 2 bosses that repeated over and over and over. Metroid: Other M was sort of the same way except it's fucking unbearably bad. I can't believe how badly Team Ninja ruined the franchise with that monstrosity. |
