    Thanks riddle :D
I actually prefer the north american boxart for phantom hourglass , it just looks better .

When I first saw the screenshots for castle town I thought it was fixed camera again :sigh: but if you look at it the objects have shadows , which they would have been able to do if it was a fixed camera . That fixed camera thing had been bugging me for ages , glad its not though :)

Also , did anyone else notice that they've redone the happy mask shop ?
    Happy mask shop

I'm pretty sure it has been confirmed that Castle Town still has a fixed camera angle in the middle. The only difference is that the buildings are polygonal rather than pre-rendered backgrounds.

Yeah - the camera is indeed still fixed. The buildings are actually models this time around, as opposed to pre-rendered images, so they'll react to light, shadows, etc. Plus they look about 9999x better.

And for what it's worth, the game looks fucking great. The only shots that look a bit wtf-ish are the Jabu-Jabu ones - he's still incredibly boxy.

I better pre order this game soon. My EB said that they have a shit load of pre orders for this game already.

EDIT: Castle town looks great but it looks a little too cartoony for me, especially the mask shop. Just isn't as Zelda? Looks kinda too modern as well.

Well, it is the Mask Shop - it was really colorful in the art for the original and on the inside in the original, sooo.

But yeah. Definitely looks different. I was thinking of preordering it.....gah. I'll wait. I want to see if Amazon.com has another awesome offer. I got SSFIV3DE for $20 from them

Honestly I think the game could look a bit better. Look at the Resident Evil games and Super Street Fighter IV on the 3DS. They almost look like current consoles games, especially the two RE games. I bet the Wind Waker could be ported over no problem.

I was wondering the same thing - I kind of want OOT to be released later on, to fully utilize the 3DS' power and such. But at the same time, I like, fucking want it now.

I have no doubt that they could port over Gamecube or Wii titles - hell, I thought Street Fighter was done from the ground up, but it was actually ported and altered from the (360 version I think?) and optimized for the 3DS. If they can do that, I don't see why we can't have Wind Waker. Once the size limit is upped from 2 GB (which is hopefully soon), we might be seeing fully fledged enhanced ports from the Wii, and better optimized ports from the 360 and PS3.

A Wind Waker port/remake would be glorious. It's the only Zelda game that actually needs a remake, because it had a substantial amount of content and such cut out due to time constraints.

And yeah, there are some games that look better than OoT, but hey, I adore the original in all its polygonal glory, so to me that's no reason not to love this one. Besides, based on the screens I've seen, the lighting in various areas (courtyard sneaking, bazaar, etc) is dramitically improved, which is more than enough for me.

The cartridges actually have 8gb ( more than a 360's disc ) on them , nintendo put a 2gb cap on for some fucking weird reason . One problem with windwaker though : button mapping . sure , the touch screen can take most of the inventory but what about camera ? Only way I could see that working would be l targeting , which could work .

Apparantlly nintendo did think about another circle pad for camera control , but decided against saying that camera control could be used by gyro . What ? not everyone wants to be constantly turning round to be able to see !
