I don't know why, but this kind of makes me laugh.

Kind of like when my mom would tell me that "sucks" is a bad word, and I don't mean using it any kind of sexual context.

I'm kinda surprised that they let this fly, I remember noticing swearing was dubbed out of movies on TV when I've been to the US.

Then again not all cartoons are aimed at kids, South Park says a lot worse a lot more often.

Adult Swim being on the same channel makes this whole thing pointless. I some kids wont be up at that time, but I had a tv with cable in my room when I was 5 and I watched cartoons all night.
Yeah, IMO, children shouldn't be watching cartoons that late, anyway. When I was about 6 or 7, I went to bed at 9:30 pm (30 mins after adult swim starts), but I couldn't watch cartoons past 9:00. I just spent the rest of the 30 mins just playing super mario 64. My mom was cool, and didn't care when I went to bed, but as long as I wasn't watching anything vulgar.
Mannn, when I was 6 or 7 I was put to bed at 8:00.

I never really had a bedtime, and I never really felt "pissed" was a bad or inappropriate word.

I stopped watching CN 3 years ago. I can see it being on Adult Swim, but if it's not, just wow.

I say fuck it, kids get on the internet regularly now a days.
And the internet is FULL of shit that will corrupt and destroy kid's minds worse than "pissed".
I mean, for example, when i was about 10-11 i was actively surfing the interwebz for porn.
Similar, but less extreme examples are all over the web. Kids see, read, and hear all kinda of inappropriate stuff on the internet. Hell some of them are half naked on Facebook when they are not even old enough to be on it.
I just think it's not as bad as other things. Cause the internet corrupted me.
And also, i don't know if it's just me, but i grew up around crazy cursing parents, and i figure i can't be the only one, so there is another example of how small the word "pissed" is in comparison to many other things kids see and hear on a daily basis.

    Always tl;dr

Yeah, I honestly couldn't care. For a couple of reasons. Firstly, if you're a good parent, you've probably already talked to your children about not repeating bad words, and they should know not to. Two, they've prolly heard most of them at school anyway. I know I did in elementary school, and I never cussed. If you've talked to them, and they're good kids, then it's really just the same as one of their peers saying it. If they're a good kid, they won't repeat it. If they're too young and they do repeat it, it's prolly just a good time to have that conversation, and not have it happen in the future.

    Don't you agree, Zach?

I've never really seen "pissed" as being a "bad word" so I don't really care that they said it on a CN show. My brother (10 yo) watches it all the time and he's heard me say "pissed" since he was a lot younger. He chooses not to say it even though he's subjected to it. I know not all kids are like that, but all I'm saying is that I don't think it's a big deal.

Foremost is the chromatic substance accomplishment to Picklegod! Pickle contributes to all parts of the forum, stays astir, and mostly is awful to everyone he meets. A wonderful, intelligent somebody, Pickle testament now better us with every day NF decisions. Approval Picklgod!

While I don't think that "piss" is all that vulgar of a word, I do see some merit in CN restricting its usage on their shows. First of all, in elementary school, "piss" is a cuss word, essentially. Saying that in a classroom, at least here, is a punishable offense and can even result in suspension if the manner/habit was bad enough. Cartoon Network is aimed at a younger audience, though admittedly not for 6-7 year old children. From what I can tell, it's mostly for kids between the ages of 10-14, though many older still watch it.

Also, I still don't understand why Adult Swim isn't it's own channel owned by Cartoon Network. However, there doesn't seem to be much of a movement for it being taken from the current channel, so I assume the amount of incidences relating to this are sparse or handled at a different level.

i don't think they have enough content to warrent an entire channel by itself
