It definitely wouldn't be the first time. Nintendo did say it'd be a social experience...so hopefully they don't mean local game play only.

When they announced the anniversary, they said a social experience, which is why I (correctly, hell yeah) guessed it'd be a port of 4Swords. I guess local is more social than online play, but we haven't gotten any confirmation from Nintendo yet. I really hope we do get it, because 4Swords is a great title. My brothers all have DSi's, so we'll be fine, but it'll be great if they could include online play. Or some way to play single player. Because if there isn't, the title would be useless to those without friends that have a DSi/3DS.

Four Swords on the GBA had no online play, so if the DSiWare version is a port... You get the idea. That's what I think, anyways.

Roar of Mufasa Posts: 9,215 Group: Administration Member #1,391 Joined: February 11, 2006 Gender Male Coins 29	Yeah, and that's what I'm really hoping isn't the case - if Nintendo were to re-release say, Oracle of Ages and Seasons for the VC, they'd either remove the linking ability, or somehow upgrade it to support it via the SD Card. Either way, it'd take effort on their part. I'm hoping that they put the effort to, at the very least, include a way to play by yourself. Or somehow compensate those that don't have friends to play with. Like say, a free copy of a Zelda VC title or something.

So I loaded it up..after registering it with Club nintendo to get my free soundtrack....lets just say i was amazed with the 3D....just watching link rid epona around hyrule...i was mesmerized...it was amazing...i played for a little bit and the controls are great i can't wait to spend all my time playing this game
