Koopa Posts: 99 Group: Koopa Member #13,665 Joined: March 28, 2011	I think CoD 3 made me question the series. World at War was Meh. Guess it's only real cause for success was Nazi zombies. Then it went to modern warfare, so I gave it a try and was pretty good. But with MW2 and after...I have lost interest. Doesn't mean I won't play the games if my friend brings them over....just means I don't feel like wasting more money on games that follow similar mechanics, story lines, etc.. The series no longer impresses me and, to me, has almost become comical at how they try to continue to milk the series. Call of Duty 2 is still my favorite

But the original N64 1999 Mario Party was fucking wicked. Such a great game. I actually have that game sitting in my Nintendo 64 right now.

I can't say there was one that I didn't like - and the only one we didn't have was 2. I love Mario Party Advance and DS - it's just a shame that there isn't an online one yet. I'm really hoping for a Mario Party 3DS with online play. I mean, the original was great, but 3 really took the series to a new level, and 5 really set the mini game bar in stone. Nintendo should try this. I'm sure that they'll try it if there's one for the 3DS. My only concern would be the time - Mario Party is pretty much the video game equivalent of Monopoly - it takes a long time to play. Even on 10-15 turn settings. As long as they have someone fill in for dropped players, I think it'll be all cool. I doubt we'll see one soon, though; they probably won't attempt something like that until they get the internet service ironed out. It's probably one of the many reasons we didn't see a closer release of Mario Kart 3DS either.

Modern Warfare series is good, Treyarch are stupid assholes, so that means world at war and black ops are absolute fucking retarded shitty games, but Infinity Ward made some amazing first person shooters...too bad people still act like mongs and camp, boost and play like dickheads in other ways...but i like call of duty, it's not for everyone i guess, and i half expect some "feedback" for my comments about shitty ops.. I actually though WaW was an alright CoD game. It's my favorite one besides 4. I don't really care much for BO though. It doesn't even feel like I'm playing CoD.

You must be talking about the Prime series - the original Metroid games are 2D side scrollers. The Prime series aren't first person shooters, either - it's an action title that plays in first person, that has shooting elements. I know it sounds a bit nit picky, but it's not a FPS. But yeah, that's the Prime series - try some of the 2D Metroid titles - you might like those. I understand , just the ones I played seemed very much like it was in the fps style . I might try an play one of the 2d metroids when/if they relase them on the 3ds shop , I cant be bothered buying them on the wii . The metroid games do have very good music I'll give them that .
