Title explains everything. I'd say for me it would be my first try at the final battle against Gary on my old Pokemon Red. I'll be honest, back then I thought I was the real shit. So I'm mopping the floor with him and I have him down to his last Pokemon. YES That was going to be my crowning achievement, right there. I'm the kid who beat Pokemon. I was in like 3rd grade, right? Right when Pokemon was the best thing since sliced bread. No other kid at my school could get past the first Elite Four, and I was going to be crowned Pokemon Champion on the playground the next day. I was going to own the entire school. So his last guy is an Alakazam. No problem, I could easily take him. Now remember that during this time there was barely any pokemon fansites and pretty much all the kids werent allowed on the internet anyway, so I had NO CLUE what this Alakazam was capable of. You can imagine my shock when he outspeeds me and flawlessly one-hit kills the pokemon I had out, which was about 10 levels stronger than his Alakazam. Long story short, Alakazam took a SHIT on my team without even giving me the chance to do anything; he literally outran my entire team and one-hit killed every last one of them. And then a week later a kid who was not me became the first kid at my school to beat Gary Oak. |

Before I had a memory card, I was playing Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour on the Gamecube. I was up to the second to last course in Tournament mode, Peach's Invitational. I was on the eleventh or twelfth hole when my brother slipped off of the bed he was watching from and somehow miraculously hit the reset button on the way down, launching me all the way back to Lakitu Open. Me and my 9 year old self was very unhappy, but I got over it, and eventually beat the Normal and Start Tournament modes. More than once.

I'm kind of like you. I had Pokemon Yellow as a kid but never got past Brock. About a year ago i decided i could play through it and i did it, in a week! I walked all the way through Victory Road and FINALLY!! I was at the Elite 4!!! I went in and battled Lorelei... my team got Raped 13 times in a row. I turned the game off and haven't played it since.

The annoying thing with the original Pokémon games is that you really had to grind in the first forest and that awful cave level if you didn't want your progress to grind to a halt in the second city. My personal worst experiences are Civilization games that end in like 7 hour long stalemates, which end with me realising it's 4am and I've spent the entire night esssentially just getting angry. I've lost soooooo much loot in Minecraft from stupid mistakes like digging down and landing in Lava or having a flow of lava unexpectedly come right through a wall you just dug into. |

Every time I thought I've saved and didn't. I absolutely hate going through stuff I've gone through before. Like catching pokemon and not saving? Cry fest. |

Before I beat the hobbit for the first time (I've beaten the game 3 times, filled my slots) in the smog chamber down in the valley that fills with water as you push the rocks over the holes that let the water out, i pushed a rock too far and it glitched out. The rock was stuck and i couldn't get it back up where it needed to be. |

I was playing Dissidia Final Fantasy on my PSP, it was at midnight, so I switched my PSP off that time and went to bed. Then the next morning, I switched the PSP on then I found out that all the saved data was deleted! All of it! All the progress I made with all the games I played! It was a horrible morning for me. |

Wow that is some terrible news dude, a few years back I loaned my lego starwars I,II,III, game to my friend and he had deleted all of my progress! The same thing happened again! I had beaten the frigging game and gotten all of the cheat codes! I tried beating it again for the third time but it was suddenly impossible for me to do it! |

Once I was playing Pokemon FireRed and I was in the Silph's Co. and this trainer saw me and we battled. When I won he ended up blocking the path since it was narrow and could only fit one person so I tried leaving the room and re-entering hoping I could then go through but I couldn't! Now it wasn't my fault but I had to restart my game in order for me to not make that mistake again. (I'm sure though there's a way around it or another path but whatever). |

Glitching games. I do it all the time. Secret Of Mana: My party just kept running on the spot for no reason. Couldn't move. Had to restart. I didn't save my progress. Had to do the section over. Tales Of Symphonia: NPC blocked me in the Inn. I couldn't get around the NPC and couldn't leave the Inn. I saved though just before. Borderlands: Got stuck in a wall as well as trapped in one of those shacks? The door closed on me and I was permanently trapped inside. Devil May Cry 4: Was at a boss (can't remember which one), got like two hits in and suddenly was cut off and was at the cut scene after the boss. The battle was like skipped some how and it was like I beat the boss but I didn't. So this glitch wasn't really a "bad" glitch. I reset the game and went back to beat the boss the real way though.Metroid: When I played recently the music stopped playing and things changed different colours. I had more glitches happen to me that pissed me off but I can't remember them any more. I had a lot. A lot of NES game glitches. Edited by Pyroll7, Mar 30 2011, 09:19 PM.

Ahahaha, I remember this happening to me in the original games a loooooong time ago! IIRC, leaving the building resets all the positions, though I'm not sure if I did that or not... I may have started over too, I dunno. And Ting_Thing, I can definitely sympathize. As for me, I can't think of anything specific at the moment. I'll edit/post again if I think of anything else. Actually, I probably won't, because I'll probably forget this thread exists in a day or two and even if I don't I probably won't care enough to have the motivation to come back. |

MW2: 1 Kill away from my first nuke. There's a guy right in front of me, but the host leaves, and disbands the game. I was so mad, I almost threw my controller at the wall
