    HAI GAYZ

Me and Rusty have been playing Super Laser Racer. Think Micro Machines, except with lasers and dance music. It's a really fantastic little game, and I'd love it if a few of us got together and had a few races.

It's 5 bucks for the full game off Steam, or you can download the demo for free off of the New Star Games site. Google it. :P

Shit, I used to love "Micro Machines", well, the one that was on the Playstation 1. It's been bloody years since I last played it... I want to play it now. ¬_¬

I might get the demo version of this game.

Awesome! Hopefully the multiplayer is enabled in the demo, which actually can also be downloaded off of Steam.

If 3 or 4 people download this game, does anybody want to try to play a few rounds sometime tomorrow? However many people play, computer opponents make up the numbers to 12 ships, so it's always pretty intense.

The... the demo is free! And if it has the multiplayer mode, it's all we'll need. :P

I downloaded another demo from the same developer and it was essentially the full game minus the championship mode.

Well, shitcocks. The demo doesn't have multiplayer.

I think what I'll have to do is buy the non-Steam version of the full game and share the setup executable with you guys. I'll do that sometime later today or something. That should do the trick.

Or we can "get" the non-Steam version of the title and play multiplayer, right?

If my computer can run it, I'm game. If the standalone copy doesn't work, I'll buy it later on tonight.

It's a pretty simple game graphically, so most computers built in the last decade should be able to run it. :P

And yes, acquiring it in the sense you're talking about is definitely an idea. You'll need to make sure to get the most recent version though, since the multiplayer feature is very new.

I'm downloading the demo now. I'll check it out when I get back from class today. I mean, my laptop isn't crappy or anything - it runs the orange box just fine :p, but it seems to have a problem with lights. We'll see.

    Edit
What version number do you have, Katz?
