Hi, I have been looking all over the net to find info on this but have yet to succeed, what I got is an apparently rare Super Mario 3 promo item... it's called a Lazy Mario. It's a Nintendo cartridge holder swivel (like a lazy suzy), which holds 16 NES cartridges in sleeve. On top, there is Raccoon Mario with tail in floating position (like the cover of the Super Mario Bros 3 NES Game) as well as a Nintendo logo trademark officially stamped "R". Can anybody tell me where this item came from and maybe of it's value? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. :silent:

They had something like that at the Nintendo World Center a while back. I doubt they'd still have it in stock, but it's worth a call if you're that interested in it.

Did you try calling Nintendo World like the other member said? I don't know if it'll help (always worth a shot), but I'm not able to find anything about it.

No offense, but that doesn't really look like something that Nintendo would release... It looks more like a project that someone completed. Where exactly did you get it from?

Hi, I originally bought this on Ebay to put as a display, but just recently I noticed the "R" trademark within the Nintendo logo and was quite curious if this was a Super Mario 3 promotional item. Both logos "Racoon Mario" and "Nintendo" are manufactured stamped (embedded), not hand painted, but the cartridge holder itself looks like it was professionally hand made with a 360 rotating swivel on bottom so that you could spin it looking for your cartridges. This mechanism is made of either oak or pine. I have recently emailed Nintendo World to see if they know where this item came from... will further post once I get a reply, thanks to all for the feedback. :B

yeah it's pretty cool but unfortunately it's most likely fake. I know ppl who have bought things on ebay similar to that and then found out that the seller printed the designs themselves. It might be authentic but since theres almost nothing on the web about it, it's probably not.. It's still really sick though and your lucky to own it!

If it is, it's not from U.S.. I've been a member since CN came here to the states and i haven't seen or heard anything about it. Plus Club Nintendo hasn't been around long enough for an NES accessory, unless it was done as a collector throwback type of thing.
