It's just sooooo much fun, especially if you mix up the teams. I'm pretty good at Mario Kart, as are my brothers, so we never play on the same team. It makes racing with my parents and friends, who suck pretty hard core at the game, so much more interesting. Add booze, and it turns into a riot. I can't stand being around people like that anymore, but if you can, go all for it. It's too much fun. Come to think of it, we did that back when we had 2 smaller TV's. Now that each of us has a 32 inch, I wonder if we'll be able to somehow work that out. I wonder if we can use the Wii? would the online still work for double dash ? 2d : NSMB (ds ) my choices for this catagory are limited to the nsmb games the original and the second game . 3d : sunshine , Ive only ever played abit of sm64ds and sunshine , I played more of sunshine . other : Mario kart series , mkwii at the top . this madfe me realise how little I have played of mario games Edited by Reaper., Feb 23 2011, 01:39 PM.

You just need 2 gamecubes, 2 tv's, and 2 copies of the game, the lan adapter, and then it's pretty easy to set up. Max amount of players is 16 (4 of everything). You can't change/select your character, partners, or cars, which is half of the fun imo, but that may be annoying to some. Oh, and definitely play Super Mario World and Super Mario 3. Some of the best games I've played.

'Cause it's the best out there ;o 2D Platfomer - Yoshi's Island (if that doesn't count, then Super Mario World) 3D Platformer - Super Mario Galaxy Spin-off - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door While I consider Galaxy 2 the objectively superior game, SMG1 has a much greater emotional attachment for me. And I consider Paper Mario: TTYD to be one of the overall best games ever made. Runner up for spin-off would be Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga (or maybe Partners in Time). Ha , as soon as they relase them on the 3ds v.console I'll get them ( because with the 3ds shop you dont pay in points but cash so you see the true amount of spending ) I dont feel like buying a nes or snes right now .
