    Few ideas for Zelda

Me and my friend were thinking and few interesting ideas came out up and i'm surprised that Nintendo hasn't come up with a few of them.

    For example:
-Zelda co-op game, whereas you can play Zelda as well and it would look like OoT,MM,TP.
You could control Sheik and you had access to alot of items Link has access too and some unique like the whip and needles.
Link has the strength but Sheik the swiftness/Zelda the magic. Could also be more Triforce story or involvement.
Possibly few things to take note of from the cartoon series, not that they were super great but definetly few things to take note of.
-Also more of Zelda games would have more magic spells like in OoT
-You could use money more effectively (in TP there was some improvements with the building bridge etc.) but when you finished that quickly there was basically nothing else but the rupee armor which was useless because of the super-easy enemies/bosses.

-What you could do for example with the money is build Hyrule castle, build the walls or horse stables, villages or whatever. At least something to think about.
Then after Ganon's attacks it can be fixed, upgrading the castle you could spend all the money on if you want.
I always have endless money to spend in all the games. It was worst in TP cause you only had 1000 rupees and if you found treasure chest it wouldn't open if you had 1 rupee more, which was stupid, because you forget where the chests are.
-Leave some of the stupid things outta the games (Tingle and some things can stay), but the backstory of TP with the Hylian chicken heads was way too crazy to make sense. (in my opinion, sure the story added up but how would those chickens be able to be the ancestors of Hyrule, building everything? They can't even stand on their feet barely, let alone hold a hammer xD)
I think it's fun to have super weird things in Zelda but when it's only JUST to have weird things (like that), i think it's really unnecessary.

-Improvement on upcoming games could also be more stuff to do, more things to do with the items.
The items in TP were awesome but it wasn't much to do with it, just few extra caves and holes and that was pretty much it.
And those caves mostly had chests and you had enough money already.
-More side-quests,characters and unlockables, extra items in extra levels.
-Last and not least: Harder bosses and enemies, i liked the challenge in ALttP,MM and WW, but OoT had pretty easy enemies (most of them) and TP only had super easy enemies. Not much improvement i have to say.
When Metroid and Donkey Kong have a heck of a harder enemies since N64, the only Zelda game that had good enough fighting experience/difficulty was WW. (There are more improvements that need to be fixed from TP like the save menu remembers where you saved last, not using the wiimote, otherwise you can accidentally overwrite the whole finished game, like i did).

Anyway that's what i remember but maybe i add more later.
Be fun to give ideas to the Nintendo staff themselves but im not sure if that's possible.

I'm sure the co-op idea has come across Nintendo's mind multiple times already. I mean, it must've - when you figure the fact that they've done multiple co-op Zelda titles already, I'm sure one of them already thought "What if this was on XXX's engine? Would this work with XXX's game play style?" etc. It's definitely not a bad one, but I think Nintendo thinks that kind of game play is better left for a different series, if only because the 3D Zelda space is something that's meant to be enjoyed alone. I would love to see it, and I'd definitely buy it on day one, but I don't see it happening.

I definitely agree about the money. I wish they'd include some kind of bank system; the one in Majora's Mask was really only to make sure you didn't lose your money when you went back in the past. It would be cool to use your money to build the castle up and it's defenses and such, but that would change the pacing of the title, and ultimately change how the title would play. In games like OOT and TP, there's no rush to do anything. You can enjoy the environments, explore to your hearts content without worrying about the well being of the castle. Unless they are planning on making some kind of Zelda RTS (which I'm totally for), I think that specific use of money should be held off on. Maybe using the money to build access to new area's or for new shops and such? Or maybe adding some kind of upgrade system to all of your items, so that you're constantly emptying your pockets.

I'm not sure what you mean about some of the odd things in the story - I don't think the Oocca were a stretch (the bird race) - they weren't the ancestors to the Hylians or to Hyrule - they were a race that were supposedly "closer" to the gods than the Hylians (which is a race said to be the descendants of the gods), and built much of Hyrule's technology (at least, the TP Hyrule, and I'm sure they did it using Magic, not hammers xD.) I think the obtuseness of the Zelda universe is what makes it special - I would hate to see the series go "mainstream."

I DEFINITELY agree with the items part. I loved both the Spinning Top and the Dominion Rod, but there was no use for them outside of key areas, as the Top was practically useless in combat and the Rod was useless. It looks like Skyward Sword (from what we've seen) will have less items, but more unique. I personally want all of the items from previous Zelda games all in one, and maybe combine some of the effects - Spinning Top + Magnet Gloves = Awesome Captain America Shield like weapon; you toss the the top, then pull it back with the gloves. That'd be bad ass. I definitely want more dungeons and extra areas (the Windwaker Series was really good with this), but I'm not sure about playable characters. Maybe something like the Masks? I don't want to play as anyone else other than Link for more than 5 minutes, but I wouldn't mind being able to transform into the other races again. Especially if they got race exclusive items.

I don't think there's a need to up the difficulty from what it is now - just add a difficulty selection in the beginning of the game. I think the current difficulty is great for first timers, so maybe adding a "Hard" mode or multiple levels of a hard mode would be best.

They could also do like in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood you could fix up broken shit in Rome, but you don't have to it's just an optional side quest.

    Reaper.
    censored black sheep .
Spirit tracks comes to mind with the zelda co op part , but more than just solving 2 part puzzles .\

As for the money , maybe they should add highwaymean and taxes for the next game XD
I like Ice catraz's idea with the upgrading weapons , but I cant help but think nintendo tried abit of this with the bombs and arrows combination .

Harder enemies really needs to happen , the spider boss in tp was ridicuolsly easy , though a hard mode I could settle for .

I was thinking maybe they should add more settlements aswell , some of the gmes felt quite empty , surely the gorons and zoras would have more than one city ?

I remember thinking about a Zelda MMORPG in 1998 or whenever OoT came out. As far as I know, there weren't any MMORPGs out yet at that time, I'm a genius! 8)

A Zelda RTS could be fun too.

    Wasn't 4-swords adventure a co-op? Maybe not. I've never played it.

A lot of these ideas a pretty good. But Nintendo would have to be careful not to convert the game style into something else with the ability to purchase stables and all that. To me, it sounds like something for a different game.

Yes, both 4 Swords games were co-op - he's talking about a 3D version of it though with Twilight Princess style models. I'd go for it, but I don't think Nintendo or EAD would spring for it unless they were able to flesh out some kind of alternate mode.

I dont see why changing the recipe a little bit would hurt, like they did with Four Swords, Minish Cap and experiments they mainly use for handhelds.
Four Swords/ALttP on GBA was succesful but on the GC it was horrible, the levels were more fun but now it had nothing to collect, except unlocking battle levels. Why would you go through all that for nothing anyway :P

Simplicity like more difficulty options, more collectibles and side-quests would up the game experience a lot in my opinion.

A Zelda Co-op would basically destroy the whole idea with a Zelda game.
