It's fun when you have a lot of people over or if you're playing with 4 people, but it leaves much to be desired. None of the sports are as fleshed out as the other Mario sports titles, so what you essentially get is an extended version of Mario Party mini games, with the exception of basketball, which feels like a copy and paste job from the DS version, just less fleshed out.

I recommend playing it, either by renting it or by going to a friend's house who has it, but I wouldn't buy it.

Yeah i bought it already i actually really enjoy the basketball although i really got it for the dodgeball. I completely agree after playing games like strikers i feel like they know how they should make these games but rushed it and didn't think people would notice
i did a review on it if you want to check it out. http://batmanandderek.blogspot.com/2011/02/mario-sports-mix.html

I don't like sports games in general, so i wouldn't ever buy it, but if i were at a friend's house and they had it i would want to try it.
I'm interested in dogeball, it sounds the best.
I'm wondering, do they have special moves like strikers?
    That's always awesome.

It's pretty boring. I bought it and like it's been said it's very simplistic, and it's very repetitive. It would only be fun with 4 players, as the cpu sucks.

They do have specials, like in the other Mario Sports titles, and it's fun with 4 people - if your friend has it, it's definitely worth checking out if everyone's going to be playing. Shy of that, though, I wouldn't bother with it.

Yeah i got it cheap so i went ahead and got it. After playing it I really think they should have put alot more work into it. Strikers is an amazing game but this one falls way short. http://batmanandderek.blogspot.com/

    censored black sheep .
There is no where near enough sports on here for it to be classed as anything but a mini game compilation , its like wii sports without any of the good sports and it isnt free . There's not enough in the package to justify a 40 pound price .

Well, maybe I'm railing it a bit too had - it's a lot of fun, and the games are more than just 4 "long mini games" - however, it's not 4 different "Strikers" titles or anything like that, and for the price, you'd be hard pressed not to pick up Mario Party or Mario Kart. But if your friend has it, then it's definitely worth playing.
