I got this idea from a friend of mine. She had a few other ideas, and I'll post them up with time. Are there any titles out there that have made you tear up? It doesn't have to be sad; maybe you teared up out of pure frustration, or maybe you were so happy that you got something done that you shed a tear. Maybe a scene was so beautiful that you couldn't hold back your tears of joy. Are there any titles out there that have made you cry? Edited by IceCatraz, Feb 10 2011, 08:01 PM.

When I played Xenosaga 2 I cried. Not because I found it emotional but because I couldn't beat that game. I beat every rpg I play and at a reasonable level or lower. But I couldn't beat Xenosaga 2's end boss. I was so frustrated with it. I never get frustrated with games. So I cried over it. Still haven't beaten that game. Tales Of The Abyss didn't make me cry but it has a very emotional ending. I teared up a bit though I admit. When I beat Zelda 2 for the first time. I've beaten it twice and the real way, no left hand screen cheat. But the first time when I was younger I was so happy I cried. Me and Dark Link both had one health left. I got the final hit. ![]() I also cried out of happiness when I beat the original Castlevania. Took me years to beat it. Edited by Pyroll7, Feb 10 2011, 08:16 PM.

Mother 3 definitely made me bawl like a freakin' baby. I haven't been the same since I finished that game. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box also made me cry because (read my spoiler): Spoiler: click to toggle Oh, and another Layton, the Unwound Future made me cry. I'm not usually a big crier when it comes to movies and video games but if the music and the scene match up personally, I get all choked up. |

Interesting. I played through Mother 3 and didn't really feel any emotional tug - though I wasn't really devoting 100 percent of my attention to it like I should of. Maybe I'll go back and play it again someday. I didn't tear up or cry, but I was definitely awe struck for a few moments at the end of the bad route in TOS: Dawn of the New World. Spoiler: click to toggle I played through Shuffle! (An adult visual novel, but there is a censored, child friendly version for the DS and PS2 I believe), and I teared up once on every route. But on Nerine's, though, I actually dropped a few tears, and it was definitely out of sadness. I couldn't stand hearing that girl cry: I lost it for a few moments. Oh, and when I was younger, I definitely cried when my douche dick fag head brother erased my Pokemon Gold game. I lost my dear Espeon...

Emotional titles i have to say: When i cry/almost cry: -Final Fantasy VI (Locke's girlfriend) -Final Fantasy VII/Crisis Core (both titles) -Final Fantasy IX -Final Fantasy X (the scene at the river) -Kingdom Hearts 1-2 Games that i have jumped for joy: -Final Fantasy VIII (When i beated Omega Weapon for the first time) -Final Fantasy IX -League of Legends (when you multikill and survive, few moments like that in every game :P) Probably more but that comes first to mind Frustrating games: -Football Manager -League of Legends (and basically games that you build and build and then get squashed and everything goes to crap

But but but Spoiler: click to toggle I remember tearing up in a few games before, but I can't remember any of them off the top of my head. I think the Good ending to the first Bioshock might have gotten to me, as well as in inFAMOUS when Spoiler: click to toggle

Like Shmellow, both Diabolical Box and Unwound Future in the Professor Layton series made me cry. Diabolical Box in a more bittersweet way, Unwound Future in a gut-wrenching, merciless way. But for non-sad crying times - -HeartGold made me cry out of nostalgic joy, when I got the GB Sounds thing and heard Saffron City's music -OoT made me tear up out of beauty, I guess, at the last scene in the credits, where the camera pans up on the Master Sword illuminated by natural light from the glass above, with music involving bells ringing... I guess I just couldn't handle the epicness. |

honestly, there has never been a game that makes me as happy and as fucking pissed off as starcraft 2 when you're playing your best, and so is your opponent, and you're going back and forth in a super tight match, and you win, you feel pretty fucking ecstatic. even if you lose, it's not that bad, because you know you played your best but than there are those fucking matches where you were doing everything you could do with what you had at the time, but somehow the other guy is like 10 minutes ahead or something and has way much more shit and you don't fucking know what to do but cry |
