They've only done the basic colors, and a few gem colors.

Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Crystal, Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black, and White. Then of course, the remakes, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver. They've got plenty of colors to pick from. Grey, Orange, Purple, Pink, etc. I don't think Pokemon is stopping any time soon. They went from base colors, to precious stones, back to colors.

They've already trademarked it, but then again they had also trademarked the name Water Blue and that never happened.... also they currently own the rights to the names Pokemon Crimson/Scarlet, Pokemon Purple, and Pokemon Brown.

I personally would like to see Pokemon Ultraviolet and Pokemon Infrared

Half of them were trademarked to stop people making fake pokemon games , such as pokemon jade .

Erm, not really - they were trademarked so that they have plenty of options when moving forward. The Pokemon Company doesn't go after hacked titles, because there's little point - if you want a real title, you buy one at the store, and hacks don't hamper sales. There's Pokemon Bright Brown, Grey, Sapphire, Aqua Sapphire, Red Ruby, Scarlet, Crimson, and Grey already released (or in Beta) over at The Pokefan Community. It's like when they were first developing Pokemon, Gamefreak trademarked Blue, Red, and Green. Red and Blue were released over here, while Green was released in Japan. It covers all of their options.

I think they should move on from just colours, i mean they did gems, ruby/sapphire/emerald...but they should make the next one, like Sun Version/Moon Version..kinda of like Megaman Battle Network 4 Red Sun and Blue Moon, but i guess they already did that, maybe something else...

Please delete my account, I will no longer be on this forum, thanks

There are other things they could try out. After all Gold and Silver could also be called metals, and then they went to make Crystal. I would enjoy other possible naming methods.

They've still got alot of colours to get through anyway , chances are they will run out of design ideas before they do game names .

There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line
I think Nintendo will probably just reuse colours but in a different way, such as "Lightning Yellow" "Cobalt Blue" "Alizarin Crimson" etc.
