I have an entire room dedicated to my video games and systems. What kind of Chairs, TV's, sound systems, should i get to make it awesome. (The game systems are wii, gamecube, NES, SNES, and N64.) |

Get a good 40" or so HD TV (depending on how big the room is), plus either an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Playing these games in HD is fucking incredible. You will need Component cables for your Wii if you want to play it 480p on an HD TV though, but they're not expensive. I would also get a really comfortable couch to sit in. I have a leather chair in my room and it works but I only use it for myself. You need a good couch to play with more people than yourself, this is why I have an Xbox 360 and PS3 in my basement as well as my bedroom. Bedroom for myself; basement for company. BTW, that's pretty awesome to have an entire room specifically for video games. When I get my own place I'm definitely doing that. Shelves on the wall and everything. |

If you're going all out, you can't go wrong with Bose' surround sound. Sony makes a cheaper one (and some of them have an optional PS3 setting, if you're planning on getting a PS3), if you don't want to refinance your house to afford the Bose set. If you're planning on getting a PS3 or 360, make sure you get the HMDI output cables. I'd also invest in some kind container to hold all of your gaming devices in, and a charging station/dock for the Wii remotes. |

Not true. Component Cables can output in 720p and the difference between that and 1080p is barely noticeable on a normal HDTV. |

Yeah, I was going to ask, how large are your TV's? Because I've got a 720p 32 inch flatscreen, and although there are definitely lots of jaggies, the games don't look insanely better with the HDMI cable. |

This is my gaming/living/dining/bedroom. As you can see my tv is superior as it can play vhs, I bet none of your fancy thingamajigs can do that.

42" LCD with 1080p output and it looks great. I get jaggies as well, but I wasn't going to spend $1000 on a TV just because a little jaggies. |

Dr. Fred! I sell your boom box at my Best Buy! Something I see on a regular basis is something you own! Cool.... [/offtopiclameness] Think reminds me of a cool idea. Like if you had a bazillion dollars to spend on ONLY a sweet gaming room, what would you do? |
