Huh? The game is still two months away, dude. Plus Battlefield 3 is just a Modern Warfare clone anyways. |

I'm not the hugest FPS fan but I do like Bioshock, Doom, Metroid, and Half-Life. |

Dude, please do you research before you speak. Battlefield 3 is completely different from Call of Duty, the only similarity is they have guns, soldiers. and take place in the modern world. |

Well, you do level up depending on different factors, but the only differences I experienced playing both series is that battlefield has bigger maps and I have to run further to get to the battle after dying. |

Obviously none of you guys are big FPS players and I could tell you in detail how much of a difference there is but, I don't have the patience to write everything down. |

I am, actually. And I'm telling you, because I have patience, that the only differences are that battlefield tries to promote teamwork through level up goals and encourages a slower battling pace with more vehicles, but side by side the two games play more or less the same way, regardless of how the devs tried to change it up. Want to know what a different shooter is? Bioshock. Bulletstorm. Borderlands. But Battlefield is just another call of duty, just like crysis, killzone, and medal of honor. It's funny because those screens are pretty general, you know damaged with an AR/EOD Holo. In reality Battlefield and Call of Duty are both modern shooters but they have very different play styles and some features. Battlefield is a more team oriented and dynamic shooter. Call of Duty is a more straight forward , arcade run and gun shooter. Battlefield is also is at least 10x more deep. |

Sorry, I just don't see how that's possible. I've played both, and I'll tell you that COD had more depth and a more rewarding level up system. |

I just really don't see how your brain works. Battlefield 3 takes 100 hours per kit to unlock everything and there are four kits. Also Battlefield has so many attachments and three slots (Optics, Barrel, Under Barrel) that you can make a carbine into a long range, short range, or a balanced weapon. If you really want more information just check out BF3Blog.com |

Well, I'm sure some people can play battlefield for 200 hours, just like others can play CoD for 200 hours. This conversation is beginning to sound pointless, but CoD is the more successful franchise because it was original. CoD 4 changed the way FPS were made, and most games since then, including battlefield, are just copies trying to share in CoD's success. |

In Modern Warfare you run, aim down the sights, and shoot at dudes. In Battlefield you run, aim down the sights, and shoot at dudes. In Medal of Honor you run, aim down the sights, and shoot at dudes. In Killzone you run, aim down the sights, and shoot at dudes. It's all the same shit. I'm getting sick of shooters to be honest. I doubt I'll even try Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3 this year. |
