Yeah, they look like dildos. But they're very effective at what they do. It doesn't have the same weight as the Wii remote when it comes to overall functionality, (as the Wii remote has built in speakers) but it's definitely better at measuring distance and is a lot more accurate. Granted, it measures things differently than the Wii does, but in terms of what it does in common with the Wii remote, it's like a Wii Remote +++ with a Wii Motion Plus attached. That being said, it's not the same. While it's more accurate, the games that it's been used in so far don't show case it. You won't be getting anything different out of this than the Wii remote, unless you count the sports packages that come with the move, which are, like Wii Sports/Resort, hit or miss. I like the Motion+ table tennis better because of it's fidelity - it's accurate, but not so accurate that you need to actually play with the remote in a specific position for it to work, like with the Move. There's no denying that the Move is a more powerful, accurate machine, but, for better of for worse, the Wii's already drained most of the market when it comes to single hand wand style play. There's no point in picking one up as of yet unless you prefer shooting games with Wii remote style controls and want them in HD. |

Move is essentially a realy accurate wii remote with no good games for it . Seeing how this is a nintendo forum Im guessing most people with a have a wii anyway , and will not want to spend 50 pounds to play the same stuff on the ps3 . I dont see the point in the orb at all , unless its what the camera tracks . Sony only made it because of the wii's success and amde something very simmilar for themselves . The Orb is also integrated (will be integrated) into games by changing color - use a fire spell and it'll turn red/orange, ice spell turns it blue, etc. Or at least, that's what they said at E3. I haven't seen a game other than that Wizard one use it, and quite frankly, it's not really a party seller, but it's interesting nonetheless. I could see a few party games using it. I wonder it's exact color and brightness output is - if it can simulate a disco ball and shine brightly, then it'd be pretty cool to have around to add extra flair during DDR or something. |

I dont think it realy needs to be as big as it is , surely something abit smaller could do it . is it me or do all the pictures with the move always look like the orb has been stuck on as a 2d image ? |

The PS Move is totally pointless. It's exactly like the wii but with no games. And that orb on the top - It looks ridiculous. I might get it eventually, but I'm not in any hurry. They just want Nintendo's profit. Now if you compare the price of the wii to the PS3 + Move, it's like, twice as much. The wii is $200 in local stores here, and PS3 is $300. Now move is another $100 on top of that. Why would anyone pay so much more just to get slightly more accurate remote. |

The only game that could possibly be dcent that I have heard of for move was some no more heroes thing , Im pretty sure there were 2 on the wii from the same guy who made killer7. Bear in mind the ps3 is alot more advanced than the wii , so naturally it costs more , kinect is worse though , charging a 120 pounds for that ? |

Kinect is an extra $150, which for what it is, is worth it in my opinion. PS move is an extra hundred for pretty much nothing new. If you want motion control like that, go with the wii. |

Not realy , eye toy which is pretty much the same thing as kinect sold for alot less , you'll also find the same problem with move with kinect , theres no good games for it . kinect sells for 112 here , not to mention having the xbox itslef , while move sells for about 40 , there both rip off's of things that have already been made either way . |

Meh, I actually played with Move once at Best Buy, it's pretty cool. The controllers are very comfortable, and it's really cool playing games with it. I already have a Wii though, so I won't buy it. |

How many games did wii have when it first came out? I'm sure there will be games for it eventually. And I don't know of a single game with the eye thingy. |

Wii Sports, Twilight Princess, others that didn't appeal as long as those two. All you needed, baby. |

What I like about Wii Sports is I can play it ALL day and not feel bad about myself. "So, what were you doing yesterday?" "...Working out." |

Kinect is a 3D camera - it actually maps your body, judges distance, recognizes certain patterns, moves to track your body while the EyeToy remains stationary the entire time, possesses voice location and noise suppression, etc. The eyetoy is just a camera - it can't do half of what the Kinect does. Even if you don't like the Kinect, it's underwhelming to say it's the same thing - Kinect is way more powerful and accurate than the EyeToy. They are not the same thing. The PS3 has had several games that use the EyeToy without the Move, including Eye of Judgment, Aqua Vita, Mesmerize, Operation Creature Feature, SingStar, Tori-Emaki, and The Trials of Topoq, all of which were released back in 2007, way before Kinect launched. While I haven't played any of these games outside of Eye of Judgment, the other games were Sony licensed, so I can't imagine that they were just pushed as Shovelware titles. |
