I haven't played Yoshi's Story in years! A girl I used to be friends with a lot of years ago had a copy of it for her Nintendo 64 and we used to play it a lot. I thought it was a pretty good game. I never had my own copy of it though, but it's definitely one of the ones I'm planning on getting for my Nintendo 64 in the future.

I never knew about it for some reason.
I tried it on emulator 6 years ago but i never found a file that worked so i thought it was a hack, not an actual game.
Tried it the first time few months ago and it was pretty fun, got stuck for a few hours :P

I'd be so happy if they did something with it in the near future :D

I remember it back in those days, just starting out as a gamer. Liked the game for sure, too bad I don't have a cartridge of it (along with some other games...hah) so I can play without relying on emulators/ROMs.

I couldn't find a working rom of it either and I tried it a lot more recently than what you did. I experienced the exact same problem on every one that I downloaded.
I also couldn't find a working rom of "Donkey Kong 64". The game started off fine, but when I entered the first level it was all messed up and it was like that on every rom that I tried. So, I still haven't got to play it properly. :(
If anyone knows where I can get a working rom of both of those games, could you let me know? It would be very much appreciated.

When I was little, I would sing the song at the end. :P Even though it was Yoshi gibberish.

Well, my DK64 ROM worked up until the 8th level, and then PJ64 got pissy and kept quitting.

Also, important note: It's on Virtual Console, so you can always buy it and play it legally.

Yoshi's Story never appealed to me back in the day, but now I feel like running around and trying to find a copy of it somewhere, or be lazy and get it on the Virtual Console.

I definately feel they should port it to the ds or even better the new 3ds.that game visually just seems like the perfect fit.and the music was so awesome! i would buy the soundtrack on ebay if it werent for the fact that it probably costs an arm and a leg

I never played Yoshi's Story, but one of my favourite games ever is Yoshi's Island.
