hey great reply!...yea i knw dude, but its just togekiss mayn...it has a special attack of 120 for a reason, just like magnezone can learn thunder while it has a whopping 130 base attack points!...do u knw how much damage a magnezone can actually do with its hecticly powerful moves??..plus it doesnt have an negative effects to boot!...so surely togekiss havng the move stormwind isnt really a bad idea Yes i agree with u on the type descriptions...new types were released and so it ws used to match the old pokemon's features....nd uv got a point..btw the chance of a new type called 'light' is low..because since pokemon is made in japan..japanese people believed in fighting as a way of of justice..so fightins is considered as light already..thats why fighting can beat dark. To give certain pokemon additional types...will be great, but yea, the chances of that happening is slim for now... nd nope bulbasaur ws never a dual type pokemon..it ws introduced as a dual type in the second generation, because that is the generation where dual type pokemon originated. thank you for agreeing on the third suggestion haha. |

Here's a screenshot from Pokemon Red of Bulbasaur's stats screen:![]() Bulbasaur has always been dual type. With the new typings introduced his weaknesses and resistances were changed, but not his actual typing. As for the type being light, I don't doubt it. We already have dark and light pokemon cards, and there's even the temporary "Shadow" type from the series. I doubt they'll give it to us as a type, but it's certainly not out of the question. I just don't think that, with this many pokemon, they'll go back and retrofit all of them to accommodate another typing. It was ok with 151, but with more than 500, it'll be mundane. ![]() (One of the best Pokemon Light type Cards) As for Togekiss's move, it's still possible via special edition pokemon. They do it all of the time with event pokemon (Surfing Pikachu, Flying Pikachu, etc.) Hell, with the next spinoff pokemon game they could include one. It's not impossible. It's just introducing one via the game itself at this point would be unfair because the game is already out in one region. |

woah! thanx dude for proving it for me haha...i coulda sworn that there wernt dual types for 1st generations ....but those are cards isnt that different to the settings of the anime pokemon??..ooh yea true hey, but im just hopng for togekiss to get that move for the next game hehe..who knws lol..another thng is..the next generation(assuming that there will be one) is for sum hecitc evolutions whch a lot of fans would want..specifically speaking..rapidash, noctowl, lantern, wiscash, lumineon, pachirisu, abomasnow. sounds kinda unrealistic, but its a wishlist lol |

I'm not sure. I do know that there were some "light" pokemon in the anime, but I think it was something completely different. The cards aren't based off of anything specific either way - most cards have moves that are made up, like the ones above, and the descriptions sometimes conflict with the games. Either way though, I guess in the future it could be possible. I'm not sure if they'll add any more evolutions to existing pokemon - though it's something that I'd hope for, as well. They didn't do it in the Black/White generation, but with a new console around the corner, there's bound to be another release, so I wouldn't say its unrealistic. Maybe for Rapidash and Noctowl, as they're quite old to begin with, but Pachirisu is possible I guess. It'd be cool either way. |

Hey Epicyoshi, I know you want to contribute to discussions and such but could you stick to the more recent ones? It's a little frowned upon when an old topic (such as this one) is bumped. Thanks

OK Sorry, I just couldn't find many recent topics I could talk about. But I must ask, is it a few months after that I shouldn't bump? (Like is it okay to bump a Feb. topic?) Edited by Epicyoshi, Mar 31 2011, 08:42 AM.
