Why was there no Fallout 1 and 2?

Bonbon beat me to it. I've sadly never played the earlier games, but given the chance I absolutely would. From what I have learned the first 2 Fallouts were not FPS like 3, but focused more on the rpg-like elements and the complex story paths that the series as a whole is best known as. Everything from Ghouls, to Super Mutants, to the Enclave, to the vaults were in the earlier games. The first two were made on pc , by the original devolpers quite awhile back . @Mfreak : you can get a free demo of what was going to be fallout 3 , I colud try finding the place you get it from if you want . |

Have you even looked at the requirements? I could build a computer that meets those requirements from a Dollar Store. Not really, but seriously, a 10+ year old computer could run this. The original game came out in 1996.... |
