I've sadly never played the earlier games, but given the chance I absolutely would. From what I have learned the first 2 Fallouts were not FPS like 3, but focused more on the rpg-like elements and the complex story paths that the series as a whole is best known as. Everything from Ghouls, to Super Mutants, to the Enclave, to the vaults were in the earlier games. Not really, but seriously, a 10+ year old computer could run this. The original game came out in 1996....
