Characters like Shadow,Bomberman and Sora would definetly add more fun to Smash, no doubt.
Bomberman could be the master of bob-ombs! :D
And they couldn't hurt him and he has few types of them and for example has a rope attached to bombs like a whip of some sorts.
    Pretty interesting idea :P

Little link's magic sword spin would suck you in and keep you there for multiple strikes instead of sending you flying (and there was the difference between Little Link's fire arrow and Link's arrow) but largely, not too different.

And also faster, which is what i like most about him.
Definetly my favorite character in Melee :)
True, he is faster. I didn't really do an in-depth look at all the differences.

Upon further thought, another interesting character would be Dark Samus. Basically take Samus, change up the B attacks, and make her a more brutal melee character. Taking from the Metroid Prime Series, she (it?) could have her B fire a powerful phazon missile (more powerful than Samus' missile but cannot be charged and fires slower so less supressive fire capability).

Up B would have to be different (as Dark Samus never exhibited the screw attack. Though she has shown the ability to charge up and dash into you in a manner that is somewhat painful). Heck, she floats/flies so she could be another person besides Peach that can, well, float. If anything, she would be an interesting add. But anyway I got sidetracked. Gotta love brainstorming ehh?

    Aherm. Carry on.

It sounds like a good idea, but you're probably going to have to add a few more differences if you don't want cries of "Clone!" filling the air. Still, I'd totally play as Floating Dark Samus. =)

My only ideas at the moment are Alucard or Simon Belmont.

If Ridley can't make it in, I'd love to see this.
It's Phazon Beam, Phazon Crystals, Tornado, Dash, Dark Echoes and Invisibility give Dark Samus tons of moveset potential.

    Probably watching Archer

If any of you have seen the videos on youtube entitled brawl taunts, you will know what I'm getting at when I say I want Master Chief from Halo in there. And possibly Slippy :) jk

-Standard Special Move: Needler Hold for continuous fire until out of crystals. Crystalline pellets will home in on nearby opponents, like in the games. Continue playing the match and they will replenish over time. Similar to Fox's Blaster.

-Side Special Move: Shotgun Will do about 8-17 damage depending on how close you are. The closer you are, the more pellets hit the opponent.

-Up Special Move: Banshee Hops in a Banshee and can fly around for a short period of time in any direction.

-Down Special Move: Grenades Alternates between sticky and fragmentation. Stickys do less damage than Frags, but are able to latch on to opponents.

-Final Smash: Fuel Rod Gun Whips out a rod gun and starts firing away. He has 15 shots and 15 seconds to do as much damage as possible. Once he is out of shots or time, the final smash terminates. Blasts do 20-25% damage each. Similar to Snake's Grenade Launcher, but with more mobility and more rounds.

-Sheild: His shield should be unique, similar to Yoshi's egg shield. His should be where the yellow plasma stuff moves around him like in the game, and when it runs out, it should have that little animation of the yellow stuff breaking away from him as well as the classic dazed slip and fall. The more hits he gets while in his shield, and the longer he holds the shield, the less dense the yellow plasma will be around him.

These are very limited, it's true. Are they a possible future moveset? Keep in mind that I am only using the things I know from Combat Evolved, as that is the only Halo game I've played. :P

A sentence for you to read underneath my avatar.
I'd like to see characters like King K. Rool, Geno (Is it pronounced "Jen-O" or "Gino"?), Bowser Jr., Dixie Kong, Waluigi, Vaati (human form), Funky Kong, Kamek, Smithy, Knuckle Joe, and, yeah, why not, Simon Belmont.

I think Megaman would be a great addition to the Smash Bros. series, I'm surprised he wasn't in Brawl, hopefully he'll be in the next game!

Hasn't Capcom openly stated that they would have gladly put Megaman in the game, but Nintendo didn't ask them?
Considering Megaman's history on Nintendo consoles and how iconic he is as a character, there is no excuse.

Thats one character we can expect in the next one then .
keep in mind they need to leave some good new chacters to add to the apeal in later games .

Megaman would be a good addition, but he could be used as a long-range spammer.

Well seeing how he is in Super Smash Flash, he's not that spammer of a long range :P
Shoots similar as Falco, he should be definet for next game.
