    I almost died today.

I nearly died today. I was going for a hike through my local woods, and I tripped on a log, took a 15-20 foot drop into a creek bed, and a stick or something punctured my chest, nearly going into my heart, I mean it's literally exactly where my heart is. It didn't really hurt, nor did it bleed at first. But after about 30 seconds there was blood everywhere. I quickly made my way to civilization and was rushed to the hospital. I had to get 6 stitches.

The worst part were the needles, she stuck me atleast 3 times with 2 different needles, very painful needles, oh, the needles hurt so bad, plus I hate needles. I was kind of panicking, but the one thing that calmed me down was thinking of the woman I love. I really wish she was there by my side at the hospital. I never really realized how much I truly wanted to live, until I almost died. The doctor who stitched me up said that it could have been worse, and I very well could have died.

I feel your pain. One time I almost died because I was walking on the street and I tripped on a fire hydrant which caused me to fall and get stabbed by a fork. It almost killed me but it didn't hurt at all. I didn't bleed until I got to the hospital and the Doctor pulled out the fork. Then my blood shot out of my near-fatal wound and into his eye. A few minutes later he told me I was a very lucky man. Apparently if the wound was only four inches more to the left of my heart, and if it would have been a lot sharper it would have pierced my muscle and then my ribcage and it would've gotten my heart and quite possible killed me. Talk about a close call huh! Oh, and I didn't have to get any stitches.

By the way, who in the hell do you think you're fooling with this story? Why would you post such a blatant lie?

How did you trip on a log? A log that is near a supposed cliff? And even if you did trip on a log, which I still don't know how you could possibly do on a hike by yourself, I don't see how you could fall 15-20 feet because of that. Speaking of which, I'd be more concerned with internal bleeding. Though I'm sure that didn't actually happen because I doubt you'd be posting on the forum right after that, among other reasons.

You don't even know for sure what punctured your chest? If something like that happened to me I'd definitely know what did it, since I'm sure you pulled it out. Or did you just leave it in and walk to town with it in there? I'm sure you did neither, because I don't think you were actually pierced by a "stick". It's highly improbable that you would land on a stick that would pierce your chest. But then again you didn't actually fall two stories into a creek bed did you? I mean come on, you fell that far, got punctured by a stick, and it didn't hurt that bad? And after falling that far and almost dying, you actually were able to walk right away to civilization?

I wasn't aware that needles were more painful and life threatening than all of that either.

I don't know, it just seems like nothing in your story adds up. But I'm sure I'm the only one who is thinking that.

Is the woman you love Haley Williams....just a thought.... :P

While the story is barely believable...or well...impossible, I hope you're okay if it actually did happen...but if it didn't, oh well...101....I guess.

Ash's got it. Anyway ... you know it's too overly dramatized when he starts talking about the person he loves.

Do you not think it might be useful to stop you drowning again?

That's exactly why my parents signed me up for swimming lessons twice.
Now I can like half-swim (I've forgotten, don't go to pool or beach much, despite living on an island), and I can't seem to sink at all. I always float :x

I almost drowned when I was a kid, too. And then my parents got me into swimming lessons...I was at a girl scout meeting, too, and the girls just stood around, watched, and laugh. My dad jumped in and helped me though.
