Wait, that makes no sense. Surely, this below is the correct answer? 0=2x(11)-9 0=22x-9 9=22x 22x=9 x=2.4~ Which makes total sense. Edit: Wait, jesus fuck why are we arguing about that equation. This is probably what he meant:
Thus resulting in 0, his true age. Edited by BuffaloX7, Sep 11 2010, 08:37 PM.

2x(5+6)-10-1 2x(11)-10-1 22-10-1 12-1 11 Or because x usually stands for a variable, and * is the correct way of multiplying 2x(5+6)-10-1 2x(11)-10-1 2x(11)-9 2x = 11-9 2x = 2 -2 = -2 x = 0. He's probably zero. |

They just like messing with you, N!ck. You're smarter than people give you credit for. EDIT: But what if that X was actually a multiplier? Edited by Angel of Light, Sep 12 2010, 01:09 AM.

Nick? Smart? Ahahaha. But, clearly the equation is retarded, but still simple to solve. Nick got it wrong, sad to say. And, AoL, you'd have to assume the x is the variable and the brackets are the indicator for multiplying with everything we're given. |

The fact as to why you're treating this as a regular equation eludes me, as the people who originally posted it are clearly not in a very serious state of mind. And N!ck is smarter than most give him credit. It's simply not right for people to be so scurrilous when they speak to him. |
