I Would Much Rather Nintendo Buy Sega.
they've been bringing on alot of nintendo exclusives recently anyway , so why spend money on them when the do it for free anyway XD
the break up between nintendo and sony happened with sony having rights to all nintendo characters .

Sony just got it out first. Nintendo, not wanting to seem like they were stealing ideas, went towards cartridge usage.
    Uh, noooooo.

Once that deal with Nintendo and Sony with adding a CD-ROM add-on with the SNES, Nintendo actually FOUGHT for the rights of the console. They didn't just say "lulz oh well might as well go back to cartridges!!1"
REMOVED SIG CUZ Y'ALL ARE CRYBABIES.

He was responded to and realized he was wrong.

The idea of SEGA and Nintendo together doesn't seem right, but what Reaper. says is completely true.

To be honest, I never really liked any of Rare's games.
Most of the main characters tend to be furry weirdos...

    Killer Instinct
    Goldeneye
    Jet Force
    Blast Corps
    Grabbed by the Ghoulies
    Perfect Dark
    Kameo
grabbed by the ghoulies was horrible

They don't just do games, which has been stated before in the thread. They also do the avatar items.

Why would you want them back?
I'm pretty sure almost none of the old staff members are still with the company.

I think Rare faded with Nintendo when the N64 did. That's not to say they don't have the same potential to make more great games if they teamed up with Nintendo again, but really, all of their best titles came out in the N64 era. I do miss Banjo Kazooie, but most console gamers these days have more than one major brand, so it's easy to branch out onto the other systems (aka Xbox) to play old favorites.

Also I quite liked Viva Pinata :P

A sentence for you to read underneath my avatar.
I've heard Killer Instinct 3 is being constantly talked about, which is a good sign for me, since I've been a Killer Instinct fan my entire life, ever since I was 3.

I've heard interviews from RARE and some of Killer Instinct's original designers, they've said they might put it up on XBLA before they make a true sequel. You know, KI is more of a cult game, not really mainstream, even though it often makes lists on the "top (something) games of (something)".

Either way, with this sudden surge in fighting games, it's pretty obvious that Microsoft will tug on Rare from the shelf, dust it off, and begin to look at it's fighting game history.
