Rare made one of the best nintendo games, Banjo and Kazooie, Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Conkers bad fur day, Diddy kong racing. We know they don't need rare for Goldeneye and Donkeykong Country but they made good games for nintendo now there microsofts slave for family games they're making kinect games of generic sports. They were always the best team with nintendo. Will the duo ever be back.

It depends. I'm not exactly knowledgeable on the subject, but if Rare is making a lot of money for microsoft, I can assure you Nintendo won't be seeing them again for a while.

Rare hasn't made a good game since Perfect Dark.
There's a reason Nintendo sold them.

Even though recent Rare games like Viva Pinata and Nuts and Bolts sucked, they still made a shitload tons of money out of them.

To answer the original question, probably not. Microsoft bought Rare. So the situation is delicate.

... I want my Banjo Kazooie back, though. I know that much.

As mentioned, MS owns Rare. If, for whatever reason, MS sells Rare, then it's possible.

But Rare is MS' cash cow when it comes to Avatar stuff and XBL Market material. So I doubt it.

Avatar? You mean Rare makes Last Airbender games? I've not even heard of these ...

I'd heard of that movie game version. I plan to buy a used copy one day and burn it.

OOOOhhhhhh ... didn't know that either. Then yeah, Rare is trapped then. If they've become that pivotal a piece of Microsoft, then they're obligated. No Rare on my Wii =\

No. Rare isn't coming back to Nintendo, and Microsoft is not going to be selling it anytime soon. I won't say that all of Rare's games have sucked since Perfect Dark (Viva Pińata did relatively well), and as Ice stated, Rare works a lot with Xbox Live. Microsoft won't be in hurry to shed them away.
