I still have my old cards
I lost all my old cards. Well, they're probably lying in a box out in the garage somewhere.
I wasn't really into the battle cards, I only really collected the normal trading cards.

I had a sticker book as well, which I never fully completed, but I got a good bit of it done.
And I had one of these. Anyone remember them? They were out around the same time as the original Pokedex's.

I remember having decks upon decks of Pokemon cards. And then my mom just threw them away.

I played Pokemon Stadium and Super Smash Brothers with my friend when I was around seven or eight. I had absolutely no idea what the heck was going on, but it was tons of fun. Every time I play one of those games, a huge wave of nostalgia washes over me.

I remember the very first time I touched a video game controller was playing SSB at a friend's house; I picked Samus and got destroyed by him and his brothers in the city map (I forget what it's called).

Mine should be in the house somewhere. I remember Tyranitar was always my ace.

I actually have a GIGANTIC book filled with the damned things. I can't find it now, but I have loads of extremely rare cards in it. I'm pretty sure the entire book is worth about $4000.

For every new Generation, I lose more and more respect for Pokemon. I'm currently playing through Yellow right now.

    Anyway, back on topic:

Another one I nostalgia over is Sonic Advanced 2. I got it about 5 years ago or something, and I spent HOURS trying to unlock the Tiny Chao Garden(I didn't know it sucked :P).

Dragon Warrior and Super Mario Bros. 3. They weren't the first games I ever played though. Super Mario Bros. 3 wowed me so much that I was obsessed with the game and the cartoon.

Dragon Warrior, the first rpg I ever played, I remember being so wowed and amazed at this game. I was like "OMG I can actually travel this whole world?" I remember seeing the first town. I was just so wowed. LOL I also remember level grinding, or leveling up as I called it and still usually do, on those fucking slimes no matter how far I was in the game. That's where I leveled up. The slimes give you fucking 1 experience point! Why did I level up on slimes? I was too scared to level up on stronger guys. Just didn't realize how the rpg worked when I first picked up that game. :D

That I may not feel darkness...
For me, it's the SNES, or the N64, not too sure which is which... I would play it with my family all of the time, especially Batman and Donkey Kong, those two were my favorites. My mom was AMAZING at Donkey Kong, I couldn't get my mind around how she could be so good. XD

    Probably watching Archer

I just collected cards for the sake of collecting. I really wasn't into battles.

Sadly, the game that gives me nostalgia is Mario Kart: Double Dash!! It was my first game, and it came in a bundle with the gamecube. *sniffle* they grow up so fast... :'(

You can find nostalgia in any old NES or SNES games, really.

    That's true for me.

(Temporarily closed. ...Gwaargh!) *doo wee doo wee doo*

Yoshi's Island - This might be my most nostalgic game. It was basically my childhood. I carried it with me everywhere, on vacations, at home, etc. I've done so many files on it... I still play it from time to time, and I've almost got a perfect score on nearly everything.

Pokemon series (mainly Emerald) - It's weird; I played Red/Blue/Yellow when I was a wee thing, and then Crystal later. You'd think those would be more nostalgic, but no, the 3rd gen, (specifically Emerald) even though I was older, holds the most memories with me. I think it's because that's when I became big time involved with Pokemon socially, plus the music is really great and nostalgic for me.

Animal Crossing series - the original one definitely is more nostalgic in terms of music and graphics, but I have many great, great memories with my sister on Wild World. We really played that game to death <3

And the next one is weirdly recent -

Super Mario Galaxy - Why does this one, which I played only a few years ago, make me more nostalgic than Sunshine or 64, which I played ages before as a kid? No idea, but it sure does! It may be because everything about it just wowed me so much. I really have great nostalgic memories from this game.

There are plently others, but that's the first few that come to mind.

Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow bring me back, and so does Kirby Superstar for the SNES. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask also make me think of my days of youth.

    I miss them so. :/
