Well by the looks of the populous of this forum, we've all played Video Games our entire lives. But which floods your mind with memories when you think about it most?

I'd actually say Pokemon D/P. Pokemon R/B/Y was so early in my childhood I can't even remember it, G/S/C used to be nostalgic but I basically 'nostalgiad' myself with it so much that I don't get the Rat-bite in the pit of my stomach when I think about it. R/S/E, not a lot of tracks make me nostalgia except for maybe some of the routes by Lilycove, because I play the music in my head frequently.

D/P Nostalgias me because out of all of them I played them the most. My pearl and platinum's play time COMBINED is over 700 hours, so yeah.

    What's yours?

Goof Troop or Turtles in Time.
My twin and I grew up playing those two games together, and we always took our Super Nintendo on vacation with us.

I agree with you lileep. Though, unlike you, I was old enough to remember the Pokerush of the 90's.

So many memories of Pokemon ... game after freaking game, every spin-off and main game. I was a Poke'maniac. Still am, really.

But for me, nostalgia is all about Nintendo. I grew up with Nintendo, and I have a lot of memories from many of their mascots. Mario, Kirby, DK, Pokemon, and more. So many memories.

For my family, it's all about Mario Kart 64. It was the first game that I remember playing so much with my parents and my uncle. I can still see it - me, trying to finish the 4 player race as soon as possible. My father, in fourth, driving the course backwards with a star so that he could ram my uncle off of choco mountain. My uncle, cussing up a storm and resetting the 64 with his oddly long hands. And my mother, laughing through the entire thing. Goooooood times.

Mortal Kombat was another game that my family was big on. Even though we played with the blood on, none of us really knew how to do fatality's or anything bloody, so it was merely street fighter with the odd cuss or two, which was really cool. I use to think my dad was god like with Smoke, when now I realize that he was simply repeating the same 3 combos over and over again in different sets. Gooooooooood times.

To this day, I get that rush whenever I play Mario Kart Wii or DS. I get huge nostalgic flashbacks when ever I play Link to the Past, though. Still my favorite game of all time.

Paper Mario - I remember playing this game with my sister and we played it once like, all day. We absolutely loved this game to death. Our save is still there from 2001.
Pokemon Red - These games were CRAZY at my school and I remember my mom buying this and a Gameboy for me and I played it at school all the time with my buddies.
Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness - When my family got our first computer my parent's friends gave us a bunch of games which included Warcraft II, Magic Carpet, Mechwarrior 2, and Myst. Warcraft II, being the best of them all, had my hooked for so long that I remember every grunt and snarky elf remarks like it was yesterday.
Battletoads - I would play this at my friends house all of the time and we would always die on that one god damn surfing part. We loved every minute of it, though.
Sonic 3 and Kunckles - When my mom showed me that I could combine both Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles together it absolutely blew my mind. But I loved it so much. I even collected every single emerald and everything. I still have the save.

My first video game ever was a tie between Crash Bandicoot for PS1 and Super Mario World for the SNES. Even though I was a fan of Nintendo, I completely fell more in love with the Playstation and Crash Bandicoot.

Ooops, I mis-phrased that. I wasn't too young, its just that it had happened SO long ago that the memories are practically wiped from my head.

    Ahh, I remember it well.
Pokemon was huuuge back in the 90's. Pretty much every kid watched it, traded Pokemon cards and had a copy of either Red, Blue or Yellow for their Gameboy Colors.
Back in Primary School, everyone would be out in the playground at break and lunch time trading Pokemon cards and linking up their Gameboy Colors so they could battle each other.

I loved it back then, but, I'm not into it at all now. I lost interest when they created more than 151 Pokemon.
I play Pokemon Yellow sometimes, though. :)

Yellow was one of my favs. HG and SS, from what I've played, are actually pretty good additions. They let the first member of your party follow you around, a trend I wish would follow in all Pokemon games to come. It doesn't look like it'll be in Black or White, but who knows. It hasn't come out ... yet =]

From all scans of hero play, it doesn't look like it is. Nothing's ever following him/her around. In of of Serebii's posts, he even confirms it not to be in.

I lost interest in Pokemon when the shitty anime came out and when Diamond and Pearl became huge. Nothing really changes with the gameplay except for a few graphic enhancements and some new features that aren't really that great.

Blue, Yellow, and Red are the only Pokegames I love.
