The lag on Wifi mode is just too significant for me to want to play online. Aside from that, finding people to play against has always been more work than it's worth. So to answer your question, people still play it, just not so much online.

I've tried several times, but I just got bored and gave up. I don't try to look online, because it takes forever to connect to someone, and chances are, in the middle of the Brawl, it would disconnect. Even if you could connect easily on Brawl online, I still wouldn't play online due to its enormous amount of lag. No, I'll just stick to all of the other amazing modes in Brawl.

One being my boyfriend and he doesn't even have the game anymore. I love Brawl, but I wish the online mode was better than what it is. It can also get dead laggy at times. I do go online now and again, though. I haven't fully gave up on it or anything.

Sure it's a little slow on some matches, but not near enough to mess anything up. Very rarely is the lag too bad to have a fun match, and when it is, it's probably because I'm against someone overseas.

You can't have a fun match at all with it. Maybe it takes so long to find people to play with because of where I am (being overseas) and that's probably why the lag is so bad when I get it. However Mario Kart is great for playing online, but thats the only game I can think of that is exceptional for an online Nintendo game.

I've played ONE online game with Brawl ever and that was a one on one against my friend. The game went a frame per every couple seconds. Needless to say we both disconnected and I've never tried again.
