i have a ds lite and want to conect it to the net to play wifi games like Mario kart and animal crossing ww but Nintendo have stooped the wifi usb connector and also im not that willing to change my routers security to wep instead of wep personal (or whatever the one the ds dont like) and also i dont have a router that is aoss compatible so how can i connect to the net on my ds without getting any further kit |

In order for a DS to work you need to have the security settings set to WEP. I don't think it's compatible with anything higher. |

Only way I can think of is to get another router (or use a computer) as an access point solely for your DS, therefore no sensitive information would be transferred across WEP. |

Well even though they were stopped you can still some how buy them at k mart in australia atleast but not shure if they sell them at k mart at other contries.

There is no Adhoc compatibility. You will have to change your router's security settings. Router security is overrated, anyways. If you know what you're doing, you can keep anyone out, even without a password. It's all preference, though. |

It's pretty much the opposite, unless you have a strong WPA2 password, pretty much anyone that knows what they're doing could get in. |

Exactly. That's why I don't even bother with a password. I just limit my port connections to be in use only on a number of ports I need. |

I've had a ds...Yes i've had a ds...yep,you guesed it,i had a ds....Yes,i did have a ds....THAT WIFI WOULDN'T FREEKIN WORK FOR 4 YEARS!!!! can anyone help me?
