    Casual Bowser... oh, the horror!
Movie video games are notorious for normally being awful, but there are a few gems out there. I had a fun time with all of the Spiderman games, and the 007 games look decent. What are your favorite movie games, if any?

    Probably watching Archer

I don't own many. I got them when I was a kid. The only two I had were Spongebob Squarepants Movie and Cars for the Nintedo Gamecube. Decent I suppose.

    Don't you agree, Zach?

They're not direct movie games (more like movie spin-off games I guess), but I have to say Star Wars Episode One Racer (N64) and Star Wars Bounty Hunter (GC).

    I don't think I've played a direct movie tie-in game that I've enjoyed.

Foremost is the chromatic substance accomplishment to Picklegod! Pickle contributes to all parts of the forum, stays astir, and mostly is awful to everyone he meets. A wonderful, intelligent somebody, Pickle testament now better us with every day NF decisions. Approval Picklgod!

I enjoyed Spider-Man 2 quite a bit, and I would say it is the most fun I've had with a movie based game. So I'd say it is my favorite.

As I recall, 007 Goldeneye is in fact, a movie game. So it'd probably be my favorite.

Iron Man 2 for the DS is also a LOT of fun. Very well done. I haven't gotten my hands on Tron yet, but that looks like a lot of fun, too.

Aladdin for the Super Nintendo is one of my favorite platforming games, so I guess I'll go with that.
If we're counting TV shows, I change my answer to Goof Troop, because that games co-op is a blast.

Goldeneye 007 was exceptional in its day, but the first person genre has moved on by so much that it's aged pretty badly.

I'm going to mirror Picklegod's sentiments. Star Wars Episode I: Racer was a fun, challenging and technically impressive racing game and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter was just a solid action game.

In fact, aside from the three I've listed, I don't think I've played any other movie tie-in games.

I liked "The Incredibles" for the PS2, as it was one of the few movie games to include the "level select" facility.

I think it's safe to say that GoldenEye 007 is the best movie game, well, ever. So I'd say it's probably the best released on a Nintendo console, too. Spiderman 2 on the Gamecube was also pretty neat, and I liked it a lot. The open world thing was cool and the city was massive.

I'm trying to think of other movie tie-ins that have been good, but all I can think of are on different consoles. Example: X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It was a great game. Gory as hell. Loved it. Also Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands was pretty decent. Far better than I thought it was going to be, for sure.

Dino-City for the SNES. It's actually way better than the Z-Grade direct to VHS film it was based on. It's very hard to find these days, a rarity for any SNES collectors. In case anybody is interested, here's a review I did of the game a few days ago....

If TV shows are counted, TMNT for NES. Monsters Inc. for PC was pretty good too.

The NES TMNT was pretty damn good, but I think Turtles 2, 3 or Turtles In Time are better candidates. Then again, those beat 'em ups are insanely tough and well I just find that NES sidescroller to be more exciting.

    Away saving Yoshis.

I never really play movie games.
I own Ghostbusters for the Wii, though and I think it's a really good game.

I can't wait until the new Back to the Future games come out. I hope they're good. I'll be really disappointed if they aren't. I'm a really big BTTF fan and I've been dying to see a new game for ages.
