Some of you may recall me posting ealier about a Sandstorm team I was working on. I finished the team, and put them on Battle Revolution. After beating a team consisting of Dialga, Giratina, and some other very difficult pokemon, I noticed that my Sandstorm team wasn't half bad. Then I set out to make more powerful teams, looking to strike gold again. Well it appears lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice, as my original Sandstorm team has stomped every team I have made. Here are my teams, maybe some of the Pokemon geniuses here on NF can help me just to clean up my teams. Original Team (Team I played through HG with) Spoiler: click to toggle 1st Sandstorm Team (The one that seems to do very well) Spoiler: click to toggle My Rain Team Spoiler: click to toggle The team for my GF, in theory this one sent shivers down my spine, in practice, not so much =[ Spoiler: click to toggle My 2nd Sandstorm Team Spoiler: click to toggle I do all Double Battles Reading through this, I have noticed that I have made some typos, and I'm too lazy to fix them, so laugh at them if you want, Idc Edited by andrew_trent74, Jul 28 2010, 02:21 PM.

Almost all of your attacks in your first Sandstorm team are at least 90 damage, and you have enough variety that I think you have at least one attack for every type that is super effective. The team sounds good, but you might want to consider giving another Pokemon the TM Earthquake, as it does 120 damage, never misses, and is almost always a one hit K.O. against level 85 and below Pokemon that are fire, electric, rock, steel, and poison if you are level 100. At least your party is more original than mine. Mine is Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Zapdos, Darkrai, and Heatran (all legendaries).

And throw the Stealth Rock/Spikes on top of that, and the Sandstorm, whittles away teams quickly. I didn't want to go overboard with EQ I was thinking I might have it on too many already lol

Oh. I only saw that Hippowdon knew Earthquake when I first looked at the party. Sorry! Nope, I guess your party is looking great. All I would be worried about is that you do a lot of double battle, and a super effective attack that hits two Pokemon in one turn, like Surf, would be devestating, and possibly, match winning. |

Really good team building strategy (works better with all dual types): pick a type and then the Next pokemon you pick is it's weakness and so forth until the last type you pick is also a weakness of the first one. I was taught this by a friend and he always beat me with it so I guess it works also earthquakes help and pokerust

Lol, no isn't. I beat another team today (Only played one match) and they had a Salemence, a Garchomp, a Metagross, and an Armaldo. I lost one pokemon, my suicide setter, with my Sandstorm team. |

Yeah, I hate hearing friends bitch and complain if I use one legendary against their full team of pokemon they got from an Action Replay. So I just try to make standard pokemon work, and if they're UU, even better. Just rub it in their face that I don't need the most powerful pokemon to win. Hell, I don't even EV train lol |
