It was so lovely <3 I really liked Galaxy's odd ending though (and credits music), as well as Super Paper Mario's. My least favorite would be.... I'm not sure.

I don't know. If I ever got around to beating Super Paper Mario, I bet it would be my favorite. Really, though, none of the Mario games have really good endings because no Mario games really focus on story; that's what Zelda and Metroid are for. Rather, Mario has great gameplay, the best of its genre. But I'm getting off topic, aren't I?

The scenes with Tippi and Bleck were incredible for a Mario story, and the atmosphere was great. If we're including the final boss itself, Dimentio's Xanatos Gambit was entertaining. Worse- Sunshine. All the other platformers are specifically designed to have little or no story, so I can't hold that against them. Super Mario Sunshine is the only non-RPG game to make any writing attempts, and wasn't very good to begin with.

Bowser Jr. kidnaps Peach (shocker) and not only does Mario have to worry about that, he is being framed for the mess on the island, which is really Shadow Mario, except the dumbass Piantas cant tell a Blue see through Mario from the real one. So in addition to looking for Peach, he has to clean up the mess. Theres the story. I think its a very unique story. Not just Bowser kidnapping her. They added a twist. One of my favorite games.

The New Super Mario Bros. on Wii and DS killed the game, because it never rounded of the whole story line probably. They set the sene in the beginning and then lost it towards the end, or though it is a platform game after all. Best ending I'd say The Super Mario galaxy series. Mario Galaxy had a good ending i think, still haven't beaten Super Mario World 1 and 2 though. New Super Mario Bros DS was not a memoreble one but Mario 64 had a good ending.
