They have a different layout and PS has a few more random features, but they're essentially the same thing. GIMP might even be a bit more user-friendly. Don't talk about things you know nothing about, man. I've used both GIMP and Photoshop- alot, I used GIMP for a couple of years before I got Photoshop. And I must say- photoshop is a ton better. Much more advanced, and easier to use. I know probably waaay more than you do. Personally I've tried both and I like Photoshop better. That might just be because i know how to use it verse GIMP. that's not to say GIMP is bad I know a lot of people who like it better. What it comes down to is which one your more comfortable using no one program is better.
