You get skills from your armor. Each piece of armor gives a + or - to certain skills. You need usually a +10 on a skill to get the skill for it, so its best to wear a full set. Alot of skills also have different levels, like Attack Up. At +10 there is Attack Up small, +15 is Attack up Medium, and +20 is Attack up large. You can hold the button you use to add monsters to your book (B on wiimote if you're using Classic controller) it will tell you the # of points you need for what skills. I use full Rathian armor, and it gave me +10 Health points, so I got +20 health. I then got some Vitality decorations and put them in the armor, so now I have Health at +15 points, giving me +50 life, maxing it out.

This page has all the low rank blademaster armors and their skills they give you

This page has the different skills, and what they do.

So if you see an armor set and it has a skill you want to learn more about, use the 2nd link to find that armor skill.

As I'd expected. What are some of the high points? Low points too, if any.

High points, well I played alot of Diablo 2, and so Hack-n-Slash RPGs are just my thing, is one of the major reasons I like it. There is a lot of customization to the character, and their weapon. The weapon to a character is one of the most important features, more important than armor, items, anything. You cherish your weapon, sleep with it. The only real downsides is the online. When I try to connect, sometimes I get an error and it won't let me in the game. But once I get in, it rarely has any lag or anything. But I think that problem is just with my connection, since I'm connecting wirelessly from another room, and we usually have 2 or 3 laptops on the same wireless. Another thing, Idk if you'd call it good or bad, is that this game is hard. Not the kind of hard that they use to distract from bad visuals, because the visuals are beautiful, but its pretty close to that lol.
