    GoldenEye (which looks kinda janky)
To me it's Goldeneye + Pointer Controls + Online = Sold. But since Activision's last Bond game sucked I'm waiting for reviews first.
I guess, but am I the only one that thinks that the game looks fucking terrible visually? It looks nearly as bad as the N64 version. I kinda wish it was on the 360 or PS3 instead as the online is better on those two systems, plus the visual upgrade.

The visuals are unfortunate and the Wii can do much better. I'm just a very nostalgic person.

How dare you mention 2010 and not mention Mass Effect 2.
    Cuz I didn't like it.

Seriously though, this was a bad ass presentation. All we need is a price and release date.

Sure, the basic gameplay is largely the same, but, on top of all new levels, there are a new features that make it a really user-friendly multiplayer game. If you're playing with someone who is having a hard time getting through a certain part, then Diddy can jump on Donkey's back, allowing the primary player to guide the team through the difficult stretch (to assist Diddy can shoot peanuts at enemies who get in their way). And if either Kong dies, they can respawn in a floating barrel that the still-living player can break to let them out during a safe moment.

    That sound familiar?

Hm, I was thinking about the OoT remake... And I believe this is a testament to the 3DS's massive game-storage space! OoT had 8 big, main dungeons, then there's mini-dungeons (Ganon's Tower, Ice Cavern, Gerudo Training Ground). A game that big on a handheld! Maybe it's been done before, but I've certainly never seen it.

Also, what will happen to top-down Zelda games like Spirit Tracks and Minish Cap? Now that they can play full-blown 3D games on the handheld...

    And Man Luke <3

Also, I'm slow Ice, what is that similar to?

New Super Mario Bros - if one character would die in multiplayer mode, they would come back floating in a bubble. (assuming they had the lives to spare)

Nintendo has a pretty decent year now. First it was Super Mario Galaxy 2, then Metroid: Other M later this year, and now they have Kirby: Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Golden Sun DS. That's not even counting third party support like GoldenEye (which looks kinda janky) and Epic Mickey. It could be the Wii's best year, and perhaps the DS's too.

And all of it could be topped off with the 3DS if it's released this year. Imagine playing some of those games by the end of this year? Metal Gear Solid 3 on the road? That would be fucking phenomenal. I bet it will pushed to 2011 sometime though.
Yeah, things are looking good. Especially excited for Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, seeing as how it has been a 7 year difference between TLA and DD.

Man, just can't wait to get my hands on these games.

Sorry to ruin everyone's day who was looking forward to Star Fox, but the N64 games are just tech demos.

Mmkay, apparently Star Fox 3DS has been confirmed though. I'm going to investigate that.

That kills OoT's remake.... However, it does show that it's probably possible to have a 3D console-style Zelda on the 3DS, so I'm not entirely disappointed, as this most likely means one shall come :>

    Away saving Yoshis.

    How awesome was that?! :D

The new Zelda game looks awesome! It looks like they've tried to make Link look more N64 era, but have kept the Wii graphics. I like the new spin on the motion controls and the new technique for killing some enemies. It looks like it's going to be a bit more challenging. The new items are looking good. That whip looks like it will come in handy, especially for killing those annoying Keese!
I feel bad for them, though. The presentation didn't exactly go to plan. The motion controls weren't very responsive. I hope it was just "wireless interferrence" and that they don't turn out that bad in the final product!

Doesn't Donkey Kong look brilliant? :D When I heard the rumor, I thought it was going to be something along the lines of Donkey Kong 64, but it's a motherfucking Donkey Kong Country game! I looove Donkey Kong Country!

The 3DS looks great. I am seriously considering getting a red one. They've revived Kid Icarus! XD
Personally, I would have preferred to see that revived on the Wii, but I'm not complaining that they've made it a 3DS title. At least we're getting something instead of nothing. Maybe there will be a Wii title in the future? :P
Also, did you see the Arwing fly out of the screen in the 3DS trailer? A hint at a future Star Fox game maybe? :D I was seriously hoping to see a Star Fox Wii game, but apparently that's not the case this year. Once again, if it comes out on the 3DS, I won't be complaining. It's better than nothing. I really do hope we get one on the Wii, though. I reckon the Wiimote will work really well for controlling an Arwing.

Also, Mario Sports Mix doesn't look too bad. It looks like it could be fun on multiplayer. I'm not entirely sure if I'll get that one, but it's a possibility.

And, I honestly don't care that there's no Wii HD. I'm happy enough with my non-HD Wii.

All in all. I am very happy with what I seen this year! :D

I wasn't able to play Zelda for too long, but I have to say, Miyamoto did not fail. The controls were like butter. Easily the best Wii game I have ever played.

^'Tis a quote from someone at another forum who attended E3 and played the Skyward Sword demo. It must have been something with the big, on-stage setup that made the controls messy, because apparently they were flawless on the demos.

Certainly, you can't help those problems. Just have to try and continue as planned. But, glad to hear that. with Skyward Sword, controls were great. Going to try and go all-out with the Wii MotionPlus, so it only makes sense they'll try to make the controls run so smoothly.

Definitely going to get Mario Sports Mix if it has hockey. As well with the new DKC.

Nope, they're totally not just tech demos. From Nintendo's Twitter:

"Zelda fans, one more thing... We're proud to introduce The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D!"
