Ice, you forgot about it's capability to eat people :o

But I can't find the Unwound Future trailer. I'll check back later; maybe somewhere will have updated with it. However, I DID find that the Professor Layton movie is being dubbed in English and set for DVD release this Septemberish!

Wow.... I am all excited out. I'm past the limit for today. Just wow.

Whooo, Unwound Future trailer! That's the last time I shall watch it; don't want to be spoiled. It looks amazing, and that trailer song is fantastic.

Anywho. I'm done with all this for today, I'm tired!

Most of the hands-on impressions of the 3ds are overwhelmingly positive, engadget posted a negative review, but that's to be expected, pretty excited about getting one, I hope it's Ł99 again.

Engadget tried to hate, but they were blown away too. I'm reading through all of the hands on deals - everyone loves it. I can't wait to see the 3D for myself.

My god, 3DS looks unbelievable. The graphics and the games that will be coming out for it...wow.

Only disappointment for me would be that there was no Pikmin 3 info. Other than that, wow. 3DS just stole the show.

Nintendo has a pretty decent year now. First it was Super Mario Galaxy 2, then Metroid: Other M later this year, and now they have Kirby: Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Golden Sun DS. That's not even counting third party support like GoldenEye (which looks kinda janky) and Epic Mickey. It could be the Wii's best year, and perhaps the DS's too.

And all of it could be topped off with the 3DS if it's released this year. Imagine playing some of those games by the end of this year? Metal Gear Solid 3 on the road? That would be fucking phenomenal. I bet it will pushed to 2011 sometime though.

I would cry tears of joy if it were released this year - and looking at Nintendo more recent trends - it's definitely possible. Most of their "original" consoles launched in November, with revisions to the consoles (DSi/Lite/etc) launching sometime in Spring (generally April, which is why I get them for free/as gifts). Seeing as they recently did a spring release with the DSiXL, I doubt they'll release it next spring. I'm hoping for a thanksgiving release date.

Either way, this year is phenomenal. From Super Mario Galaxy 2 and God of War 3 to Donkey Kong and Call of Duty. Kick ass.

How dare you mention 2010 and not mention Mass Effect 2.

To me it's Goldeneye + Pointer Controls + Online = Sold. But since Activision's last Bond game sucked I'm waiting for reviews first.
