Please could someone help me with a moveset for my Pachirisu? Her attack is slightly higher than her special attack (Not by much though) Here are her attacks at the moment: Thunderbolt, Discharge, Shock Wave, Super Fang I would like to exchange Discharge for something. Maybe Facade? Thank you for your help |

I hope you don't intend on doing competitive battling with that, because it's...just not in the league... Anyway, if you want to use it Super Fang Thunderbolt/Discharge- pick one Thunder Wave Attract/Seed Bomb- pick one, you get Seed Bomb from Move Tutor So here's my victory team Shedinja-Focus Sash Double Team Shadow Sneak Confuse Ray X-Scissor Scizor-Choice Band Super Power Bullet Punch Pursuit U-turn Aerodactyl-King's Rock Stealth Rock Taunt Earthquake Rock Slide Forretress-Leftovers Rapid Spin Spikes Explosion Gyro Ball Tentacruel-Black Sludge Surf Toxic Spikes Rain Dance Sludge Bomb Magnezone-Can't remember item... (This one had an incomplete moveset Thunderbolt Thunder Wave Magnet Bomb Flash Cannon |

Not really - it depends on what level she's playing in. It wouldn't fair too bad in the NU environment, and if given Double Team instead of Discharge, and maybe Hidden Power (Grass), it might breach UU. |

Perhaps, but isn't Hidden Power based on the IV's of a Pokemon? It just seems so hard to get that stupid move right...that's why I suggested Seed Bomb. |

It is. However, though Seed Bomb is grass, it's accuracy and low power isn't really worth taking up a slot. If you can't get HP Grass, then go for something that has a higher power of a different type - something like Ice Fang. |

Hello everyone I am creating a new team on Pokemon Soul Silver and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. Here it is so far: Venasaur: Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Frenzy Plant, Growth (Miracle Seed) Charizard: Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse, Blast Burn, Sunny Day (Charcoal) Blastoise: Surf, Ice Beam, Hydro Cannon (Mystic Water) Raichu: Thunderbolt, Shock Wave, Grass Knot, Thunder Wave (Magnet) Alakazam: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Hyper Beam, Recover Crobat: Cross Poison, Bite, Fly, Confuse Ray I haven't confirmed Crobat or Alakazam a place on the team yet, but i will need a Pokemon that knows Fly (hence Crobat) and am unsure about the last... I know Psychic Pokemon are powerful, so I thought Alakazam would be a good choice. Thank you for your input. |

I'd ditch Confuse Ray on Crobat - he's insanely fast, but he can't take too many hits, so you might want to replace it with Double Team. Alakazam is always a great pokemon to balance out most teams; I'd just stay away from hyper beam. He can't take hit's well either, so I'd give him Calm Mind, if you can find it. Shockwave and Thunder Bolt on Raichu is rather repetitive - choose one, ditch the other. Shock Wave will never miss, but isn't as strong - Thunder Bolt is strong, and won't miss unless there are accuracy buffs on either you or your enemy. Instead, Double Team, Charge, or another support move. Hell, you might want to look into Facade, too. For whatever reason, people LOVE to status Raichu - I've no idea why. If not, look into Attract. You'd be surprise at how often attract is the downfall of many teams. Black and White have this killer Electric move called "Volt Change" - it's like U-Turn, but it deal's electric damage instead. It's pretty awesome. I'm not a fan of the ultimate elemental moves that the starters learn - they do a lot of damage, but with the accuracy and the resting, it doesn't seem worth it to me. I'd personally replace them with the highest basic attack of each type (Surf/Water Pulse, Giga Drain ,Flamethrower/Lava Plume), but you already have those. Charizard is pretty decent - I'd personally get rid of Blast Burn for Wing Attack or some other flying move, though. Blastoise would do well with either Rapid Spin (to protect your team from Spikes) or some other typed physical move - maybe Strength or something to utilize his strength. |
