But nothing about this or the rest of the story has been confirmed. Other information 1.) It will be at this year's E3 (source interview - video) 2.) This Link will be older than past Links (source interview - text and video) This quote is the main one, with another at that source - "Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood." 3.) The game will take place in a "completely different era" from Twilight Princess as well as not being a sequel to Twilight Princess (see above source) 4.) It will utilize Wii Motion Plus (source interview - video (go to 3:25 if you don't want to see anything else)) 5.) The release date was confirmed for 2010, however doubt has been cast upon that by the higher-ups (Reggie) (source - text) The quote - "We haven't committed to Zelda in 2010," Reggie elusively said. Keighley clarified that Miyamoto has so far said the game is "tracking" for 2010. "That's what he said, and we'll see how that continues to develop," retorted Reggie. Elsewhere Reggie said that "that game won't be reased until it's perfect" (video interview - It's short, don't worry) 6.) It will alter the "traditional flow" of Zelda gameplay, at least a bit (source - text) This is the quote, among others scattered around that confirm this - “So far, the basic flow of the Zelda games is you’re exploring a field, you go to a dungeon, you conquer it and return to the field. We’re looking at altering that traditional flow. 7.) They will work to make it the most immersing and realistic Zelda experience, mentioning dissatisfaction with Twilight Princess's experience (see above source) 8.) It is specifically designed for Wii, and Wii only. This means Wii graphics (TP used Gamecube graphics) as well as a new(ish?) control scheme designed specifically for Wii (obvious, though there are quotes if you want) And that's basically all there is at this point. Just to inform, this game has been under development since 2006. Iwata has promised to show of the new TLoZ game at E3 this summer. Sources from a norwegian gamereactor page Zelda Informer has announced that the webpage 2chan has come with some information about the new game. This is obeously just roumers but they've been guessing before and hit bullseye on other games, Windwaker inkluded! Read at your own will: Spoiler: click to toggle * The game will be vary from the dungeon field dungeon method we are accustomed too (nothing new, Eiji Aonuma confirmed that last year). * You will be able to select right or left handed at the start, and Link will be left or right handed based on your selection * The gameplay and basic mechanics are complete. * They are currently polishing up the story and Characters. * One of the characters they are working on is a innkeeper in Link's home village who has a son that looks up to Link. * The girl in the art is not the Master Sword, and it appears the Master Sword will not be in the game. * The girls name from the painting could possibly be Adelle, Adella, or Aderu. * She is not with you throughout the game like Ezlo and Midna. * The face in the painting of her is not her real face. It's not fully elaborated on much, but it does say that it was a place holder concept art piece.(assuming the entire art itself was just concept work) * Link's sword is highly unique in this game, and will have several unlockable abilities. Adelle (or whatever her final name becomes) communicates with you through this sword. * There will be horseback combat. Epona will avoid obstacles automatically. * The models for 3 significant characters in the game have been touched up, but no they are not Zelda or Ganondorf. (google translate gives rough names of Link, Gorons, and Epona, but our translator said it's not specifically mentioned) * The idea of this version of Link also being The Hero of Time has been highly considered, and may already be implemented. * Time travel plays a roll in the game. * The game takes place in more then just Hyrule, and may possibly not be Hyrule at all. Some people thinks it might be a sequal to Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask, other thinks it's sequals to Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, but it's not confirmed by Nintendo, just roumers. Also it's been roumered that they've been working alot on the cutscenes and some of the fans are really looking forward to this. But it will not me totally MGS4/FF Then I got some information from an italian magazine. I do not know the sources of this or what it's called so it might be lies: Spoiler: click to toggle 1) The development of the game began in Febraury 2006 2) The development team is the largest ever used by Nintendo for the realization of a game 3) The game will implement many ideas never met in a video game ever 4) The use of the Wii Motion Plus will be a imprenscindibile component for the dynamics of the game 5) The new Link will be much more mature, but the dark atmospheres of Twilight Princess will be left 6) The Master Sword will play a key role in the history of the origin of the Legend, there is a reason if it not appear in the artwork 7) At now is the only game that uses 100% of Wii hardware, at the same time the current power of Wii is not enough to achieve that result 8) The appearance of Link will be renovated but not be completely unprecedented 9) The plot will be the most articulate ever devised for an episode of Zelda 10) may be the last chapter of the saga And just for fun at the end, a fan made trailer of ''Twillight Princess 2''

I see more of the master sword tbh and he isnt holding a sword either Edit: I personally think that the girl will be able to transfrom into the sword at will or else motion plus wouldnt have too much point without swordplay. That was my first thought. That was my first thought as well. Then I read all the Master Sword ideas and realized that it looked like that too. But maybe it's both? As in, maybe the Fairy Queen or the fairies in general had something to do with the Master Sword in the past. Their purpose is to aid the Hero, should he appear...

I played through it many years ago and swore never to do it again, but last year I started to play through all the games I have, and since I have Zelda Collector's Edition I played it again. I've never been so angry and frustrated in my life, but I beat the last boss after a few days
