Gorillaz - Last Living Souls Escalator Hill - When @MetaZora Sorry, I didn't know that... But I'll go ahead and listen to the song and give my opinion on it. ![]() EDIT: And here it is! I'm not too big a fan of techno, but this one was decent. A nice steady beat and some, erm, screams, throughout. I personally don't like it any more when the vocals kick in. So, no thanks. Not my kind of stuff. Edited by BFB Sponge, Nov 7 2012, 07:43 PM.

Just a little heads up, you're supposed to listen to the song the previous poster posted and give your opinion in addition posting another song. ...post post post post haha.. But I freaking love Gorillaz and I love the song Last Living Souls. I saw them play it live at the Plastic Beach Tour! They had like this little live action music video playing on the screen for it, it was cool. Great song, though surprisingly I think of their first three studio albums Demon Days is probably my least favorite. Still really fucking good though. I always loved the beginning of that song as it's starting up. That's probably my favorite part. Nightwish - Ghost Love Score This song is pretty long so I'll forgive whoever is next if they don't want to listen to the whole thing. But you must listen up to about 5 and a half minutes, that's when the best part takes place.

Very cool song. Very beautiful musically, I like the rhythms incorporated into it. The length was a bit daunting yes, but I actually listened to the whole thing! The only thing that slightly bothers me is the women's constant falsetto voices. The ending isn't as falsetto, however. I picture a kick-butt medival war scene happening during this song's climax ![]() Mumford and Sons - I Gave You All One of my go-to songs. |

@vbudkey Nice and slow, seemingly "clean" guitar throughout, and a scratchy voice kinda gives it like a muffled and rugged tone while being soft and emotional. I'm neutral on it though. Annnnnd next: Long Way Down |

Not really my thing, but that was actually rather pleasant. I could see myself getting into these guys if it wasn't for the lead singer's southern voice. Country vocals just sort of ruin a song for me. The only exception to that rule is Mumford and Sons, because their lead singer is just distinct enough to pull off the overall southern feel. How about a bit of Regina Spektor? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQs7_22CICI |

It has a nice melody on the chorus. The guitar and drum riff combination seems a bit overused though. Van Halen 5150 Awesome Chorus! Eddie is a beast on Guitar! |

gonna bump probably my favorite thread on nf here when i was in university the only thing i really took away from it was a bigger appreciation of hard rock and metal genres i didnt really understand the amount of instrumentality that went into this kind of music and it really blew me away once i realized that this song is pretty dope, but hey it aint my cup of tea i just dont really like that 80s sound unless it involves a tr-808 drum machine ive gotten really into yasutaka nakata productions recently this man knows how to do pop music im really jealous that this type of banger charts #1 in japan |
